DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
DO NOT BUY THESE!They do not work well and they are not absorbent. The urine from my raccoon leaks right through the plastic and onto the floor. I have to use 2 of these pads at one time, so the bottom pad catches the urine that leaks through the top pad. Then I throw away the top pad and use the bottom pad as the new top pad, and put a clean pad underneath it. As a result , I never have a clean pad on the floor, so I can always smell urine.My raccoon stopped using his litter box after his brother passed away. He gets an exam with bloodwork every year, so we know this isn’t a medical issue. It’s an emotional issue. We have him on antidepressants, but that hasn’t helped with the litter box issue.. He refuses to use ANY litter box, or any litter. even though he used the same litter box with the exact same litter “The World’s Best”, for the 10 years prior to his brother’s death. I even tried putting a pee pad in the litter box. That didn’t work either. So, unfortunately, pee pee pads have become a staple in our lives. I use 2 pads every day. I’ve tried various brands searching for the most economical brand that works well. THESE ARE NOT IT! These are the WORST I have purchased.The pads that I bought at the Dollar Tree are better than these.It was very hard to photograph, but you can see the glimmer caused by the wetness in the first photo ( it’s the back of the pad that wasn’t touching the top of the bottom pad due to the folds . And you can see the color difference in the second photo.

Like the gray color but could be more absorbent
I really like the gray color. It’s gray on the front with blue underneath. It’s easier for me to get them on the correct side in the middle of the night versus the ones that are the same color front and back, like bamboo or solid black. However, I purchased two packs before even trying them. My first pack was thin and seemed to leak if used to close to the side. The second pack however is better. It’s very simple packaging, they come in a clear bag without anything on it. Since using such cheap packaging, they could definitely make the quality a better or the quantity. I want to give less stars for the leaking but if you have a pup that is difficult to get all the way on the pad, these help. I’ve tried at least a dozen big brands and some without a name. These seem to get my little dog to get all the way on them and go. It took a few days for him to get used to new ones and I keep some in multiple places, but now he’s using these almost every time. So I’m changing my review. If they go in the middle, no leaks. It’s only when used towards the edge. I double them, one halfway under one to catch any run off. It makes it less of a value though. This were a lightning deal for $12.12 for 50 pack and they are the smaller ones, 17″ X 13″ “. My usual brand gives you 120 for $18.99, same size. I’m undecided if I’ll keep buying. Definitely depends on the cost. Since the little one using them likes them, I’ll probably have to unless they are too much. It all depends on how well your pup uses them and where they use them. Mine has a birth defect that caused his leg to grow wrong. He can’t lift his leg and I believe he movs around on them trying to get comfortable enough to go. My usual brand doesn’t leak, no matter how close to the side he gets. If your pet goes in the middle or close to it, it doesn’t leak. While they are on the thin side and they’re already the smaller ones, I think they have a scent on them that helps.

Smaller than usual but absorbent
These are smaller than normal pads, but it is what I wanted. I have a potty tray that has a grate over it, and you put a pad underneath the grate. It’s fairly small and I usually have to fold the pads some to make it fit. These are absorbent and pretty leak proof, unless they get it on the edge. They seem of normal quality and thickness, nothing great but not those cheap feeling pads. Seems to work well and a decent value, it’s ridiculous what some physical stores want for pee pads these days!

Terrible. For hamsters maybe, not dogs.
Just the worst. When my 9lb senior dog pees on this it spills over everywhere. Terrible absorbency. Super thin. These pads are for hamsters at best. Maybe they are just decorative pads so you can see what a dog pee pad looks like. Stick to the amazon brand.

Larger than our current pads, absorbency about the same
These Puppy Pads by Simple Deluxe are listed as 23.6×23.6 inches and have an absorbent area approximately 21.5×21.5 inches which gives me just over 101 square inches more absorbent area than my current pads. This is nice as the larger size means I can cover a slightly larger area using the same number of pads.The absorbency seems to be approximately the same as the pads I currently use which is not surprising as they are visually the same thickness and appear to be the same construction. I haven’t had any leakage problems with the Simple Deluxe pads.While these pads work as well as the ones I’m used to, they’re not as cost effective per square foot of absorbent material as my current pads. They are slightly more convenient at covering a marginally bigger area per pad, but other than that they don’t work any better than the pads I currently use.

Decent, comparable quality
I’d say these are comparable to any other brand of pee pee pads. If the price is right these are a good purchase. They’re thin but these are decent size. I use them for under food and water for out kittens. I’ve used them for a chihuahua Aussie mix dog at night. These work great for both of them.

Not durable
These were a great price, but after using the product I know why!!! They leak through and don’t hold . Don’t buy these if you want to be cleaning up messes!
