This retractable dog leash is compact and lightweight. Of the 9 retractable leashes I’ve owned this one is one of the more compact and lightweight ones. It weighs 9.2oz., where others have ranged from 6-16oz. I measured a full 16’ length on the 1/2” wide tape. The case body is hard ABS plastic; as durable as any. The handle fits my Large male hand comfortably, but is the same plastic as the rest of the body; NOT rubbery as claimed. It easily fits into my cargo shorts side pocket. The retracting coil spools out smoothly, retracts quickly, and is fairly quiet. The tape spools out smoothly and retracts fully, snag- and fold-free. The knurled pause, lock, and unlock button operates smoothly using the thumb on 1 hand. Neither the tape nor body has any reflective strip. The lobster claw hook is small, but fits my dog’s Medium collar ring. No warranty is provided.It is my daily-use leash now, and handy for jogging while my dog is off-leash. The price is fair. It works best for small to medium dogs. My dog is 34 pounds and not a puller; she will be fine on it. It will appeal especially to people looking for a compact and lightweight retractable leash. I don’t recommend it for Large dogs or those who might chew the tape.

Great Leash for Small Dog!
This is a great little leash – perfect for my Yorkie. The gray and white color is aesthetically pleasing and feels very slick in your hand. It is good that is has grooves for your fingers for a better grip. The retractable mechanism and locking mechanism work flawlessly. I also like the 16-foot range. I do not anticipate using more than about 8 feet unless we are in a dog park or other wide-open space. Otherwise, I like to keep my boy closer to me. It is the right size for a small dog – would probably not work as well for a large dog as the leash is thin. Works great for me and Rowdy!

Good for small dogs
This retractable dog leash works well for small to medium dogs and provides smooth, gentle pulling during walks that is good the dog safety. The tension control operates as expected, and the leash extends and retracts freely. The handle is comfortable to hold and lightweight, making it suitable for daily use. However, the pulling strength is not especially strong, and the 16-foot length is a bit limited. Because of this, it may not be ideal for larger or more powerful dogs that need extra durability and reach. Anyway, it is a good option for controlled walks with smaller dogs.

Great leash for big or small dogs
This leash is great, I’m very happy with it. The tether is thicker than my other retractable leash and it rolls all the way up into the handle so there’s no extra dangling out. I really like the adjustable tension, I can set it so my chihuahua doesn’t run off so quickly, it has a bit more pull for him to run against. The handle is comfortable and the quality is high. I would buy this again when I need a replacement.
