Do you have a spicy cat?
I’m obsessed with my cat. She is hilarious, loving, playful and spicy. She likes to play after a snack or meal. I got this toy (we had a similar one but it was too fast and disappeared somewhere in the house) and she loves it. It’s really well made and durable for your spicy cat. My cat goes HAM on this toy and it has yet to travel somewhere we can’t find it or have any durability issues. My cat will yell at me and lead me to the toy and demand I turn it on. She likes the yellow speed. Sound quality is good, the battery life is great and I love all the different functions and settings. Fantastic value for the money, it’s worth every penny seeing her so happy playing.

Great Toy—But Your Kitten Might Need a Little Coaching First
Well, this is one of those things I can’t really prove, but I’m pretty sure I played a big role in getting our kitten to actually like this toy. The first time she saw it, he was super excited—but by the second or third day, he was terrified of it and wouldn’t go near it again.What I did was, for a few days, I turned the toy on and kind of played the role of an older cat who’s not afraid of it. Wherever the toy went, I followed it, touched it with my hand like I was playing with it confidently, and my kitten kept watching me curiously. After three or four days of doing this together, his fear was gone. Now, as you can see in the video I uploaded, he plays with it on his own and even chases it around.Honestly, I think one reason some kittens are scared of this toy is because of how it’s programmed. You know how they design these toys with leftover bits of code from different developers? They just kind of sprinkle them in randomly, so the toy’s movements make zero sense to the kitten—it’s unpredictable! (Okay, that part was a joke 😄)Anyway, I’m writing this detailed comment because I think it’s actually a really good toy. I’d recommend it for anyone with a playful kitten—it really helps burn off their energy. Just my advice: if your kitten seems scared at first, play along with the toy yourself for a few days like a “brave older cat.” It’ll help your kitten relax, lose the fear, and realize how much fun it is.

Not for dogs
Didn’t last a day. My pup really loved it but she caught it and tore it apart. She’s learned how to take the bracket off to stop it from turning. Then she tore the rubber cover off and almost ate it. The tail wasn’t made of a real rope. It was a nylon mesh with beads in it. That was the first thing she removed. She almost swallowed the beads. I chose the pink because she’s a girl and I thought they were all the same but maybe this one was made for a cat. Nothing in the description said otherwise.

These toys bring a lot of fun to our cats. The only complaint is that it doesn’t hold a charge very well. Once we turn them on we have about 5-8 minutes until they need to be charged again.

Very entertaining for cats and for humans watching the cats.
Bought this as a Christmas gift to our cats and our sons. It got their attention immediately. I like that it changed direction so it will hit a wall but since it changes directions randomly it freestanding itself. The 3 speed availability is really nice. It’s a bit tricky to pick it up while active to press and change the speed but very doable. The only issue we had was that we use crystal cat litter and if any gets in the path it can restrict the rolling process by sticking into the grooves on the ball. A quick vacuuming of the carpet and that stopped. The burd chirping sounds help to get the cats attention but i could see the sound being annoying after awhile for some. I would suggest a way to maybe turn this option off or offer no sound version. Really like this cat toy and it was a good purchase. Would buy again.

Hours of fun!
I previously purchased a very similar one of these for my small puppy. He played with it until it no longer held a charge. This is a set of two. The end of it has a crinkly plastic more for cats, which had i known I’d have ordered different ones. However, my puppy has had his way with it and the tail is still intact after 3 months. The cats love it too! There’s several different settings. Some with a chirping sound, some that move fast, some slow. Our favorite is interactive mode (purple light). The toy moves like a rodent would and seems to taunt the pets. It also seems to get itself “unstuck” from beneath the furniture. So much fun! Just Order it!

waste of money and time
Comes in a 2 pack, 1 arrived broken. These are cheap, not worth the work to return it. They stink like drying plastic cement. I thought that might vent off over time.The one that does work… they say 3 modes, but they all do same thing. I powered it on and it chirps, then randomly moves in one direction for a bit, switches directions and shakes. there seems to simply be a pattern. It doesn’t stop even though the description says it interacts with Cat… this toy has no idea if the cat is present or not.My cat was curios at first, then it started to move. He decided curious from a a far was good enough. Maybe its just my cat… He never engaged it. He sniffs it and backs away, possibly because of the stink?Overall, waste of money and time waiting for it.
