Good stuff
Dogs love it. Feel good about feeding them a high quality food. Not cheap, but not the most expensive either. I like that the smell is not overly strong. One of the dogs has a weak stomach, she has no problems since switching to this last year.

Great for sensitive skin
Highly recommend if you have a dog with sensitive skin / stomach . We initially tried this brand in turkey but our cavapoo was still very itchy. The lamb was the perfect product for her and she absolutely devours her food now . Way less itching and stomach issues .

Great for dogs skin, coat and stomach.
I have 2 Newfies and have been using this brand for the last 3 years after having my dogs get sick on a “supposed” high quality food from another source. They have done great on it and I have never seen their coats be so shinny and soft. It has made them easier to brush and no stomach issues. We use the potato salmon especially in the winter months when skin can get dry due to having the heat on. It took care of it without have long to add more supplements.

Good quality dog food.
You have to like their commercials. It’s true, we do love our dogs and they become family. I’ve been I’ve been feeding my dogs Blue Buffalo dog food since 2003 or 2004. I think it’s good quality and my dogs eat it, like it, and do well on it. There are better brands out there; Royal Canin is one. (My dogs couldn’t tolerate it. Maybe it was too rich.) Since Purina purchased Blue Buffalo in 2018, the size of the kibble varies from bag to bag, probably from one manufacturing facility to the next. I’m sure the recipe has change since Purina purchased it, too. However, it’s still a product I trust for my pets. I buy the 24 pound size or, if I have to, the 22 pound size.

No chicken at all in this dog food.
My dog is very allergic to chicken.I have learned that chcken meat or ground up legs and beaks are in most dog foods .Youi have to read the fine print in the ingredients. And sometimes , they are not listed on the bag. I found the exact ingredients when I went on the internet. This dog food has no chicken products.

Finally a dog food my GSD can tolerate!
Yes its a little more expensive and not 30lb like most bags, but i have tried 5 different brands for my now 1 1/2yr old german shepard and this is the first one hes had consistent regular semi firm poops with. Tried, nutro ultra, royal canin gsd specific breed, purina pro plan sensitive stomach. Wellness .Also this is the first one with lamb as the protein so maybe that is the main reason but either way my dog loves this food, is having healthier stools and starting to gain some weight because he has always been thin. If you have a dig with sensitive stomach issues especially a GSD. Give it a try. I will say it took a full whole bag change over before the good results

We recently switched to Blue Buffalo due to our previous dog food being discontinued. First thing I noticed was the quality of the food as soon as I opened the bag. The dry kibble almost looks gormet! Espeically when compared to the previous brand we used. Noticed a huge difference in our dogs coats and energy levels. Guess its true for animals as well as humans “you are what you eat”!

My dog has an allergy to Bird, Chicken and Pheasant this is one of the only brads i found that gives you good quality dog food and dose not use chicken as a filler. I know that chicken is used to save cost in almost all dog foods. Buyer be aware is what i got from all other dog food brads spending hours reading through and looking at all the ingredients for them to say chicken liver or buy product in all of them. Extremally thankful for blue buffalo basics dog food also for there canned Lamb and beef witch also are chicken free.
