How to use the HAPUP cat fountain properly?
Please refer to the product manual to clean and maintain regularly. For your pet’s health and a longer pump service life, we recommend cleaning the Water Tank, Tray, Foam Filter and Pump at least once a week.
Note: Keep the power adapter dry!
What should I do if my cat is not interested in a cat drinking fountain?
Keep the cat fountain running continuously by plugging in, place it where it can be easily accessed, smelled and seen. Leave it on for a day or two and change the water daily. Kitty will probably observe and even start drinking from the fountain.
What should I pay attention to before the first using of the water fountain?
Soak the filter for 10 minutes and rinse the filter for 30 seconds to ensure filtration effect.
Make sure the filter is SOAKED thoroughly(the water needs to flow through it), otherwise it will just spill over.

This fountain is so much better than others.
If you’re looking for a fountain, buy this one. The advantages of being clear are enormous, you can see how empty it is or if the water gets murky. My cat, who loved getting drinks out of the sink, has fallen in love with this water fountain. He’s drinking so much more water than before, which is good because most cats are dehydrated. He ends up with a bit of water on his head, but he loves it. I don’t know how long it will last, but even when it dies I will just replace it with a new one. They’re that good. They make virtually no sound, and are easy to refill (I keep it next to the sink fountain where he was used to drinking) and I’ll change filters, although I’m not even sure you need filters. My cats, Socks, loves this fountain, and so do I. If you need to, you can buy a bigger one, but that’s really unnecessary except for vacations or long trips and leaving your cats for a long time. Anyway, I think this fountain is great. Way better than what else is out there. I guarantee you’ll be happy if you get one.

I can’t even begin to explain the war I’ve been on with cat fountains. Whether that be fast algae growth, noise, or functionality, I have ran through multiple and been disappointed. However, this fountain has been the BEST. Love that it’s transparent so I can immediately tell if it needs cleaning. It’s easy to clean, my cat LOVES IT, and it’s not too noisy. Also, I adore that it doesn’t have that annoying blue light that many have.

My cat is obsessed with drinking from the sink, so I thought I would try this fountain. She loved it right away and drinks from it everyday!PROS:- Installation and assembly were pretty easy, just follow the instructions provided!- It comes with a neat blue silicone mat for spillages because our furry pets like to do that! It is pretty easy for the water to get out of the fountain, so I would be careful putting it on wood or expensive floors, as the water tends to get under the fountain and on the floor even despite the blue mat.- The noise level is pretty decent, you only hear the water splashes if you are within 6-8 feet or so.- Cleaning was pretty easy, I would just disassemble all the pieces and make sure the sticky film that naturally develops was gone. The grey sponge that serves as a filter would get pretty nasty, but I guess that just means it does its job of trapping the dirt and hairs away from the water!- I did not notice any worms or fungi growing in it after, so as long as you clean it regularly!- motor was good enough to create a good water stream, not too strong, not too weak.CON:- after a few days of use, I can see water level marks on the inside from calcification deposits, but that just depends on the quality of the water in your area. I know our water has a lot of calcium in it, so that was expected and is not really the product’s fault.OVERALL: greatly recommend this, my sassy pet is obsessed!

My kitty has always preferred trickling water as opposed to still water (found this out during winter when we let the faucet dribble so they don’t freeze) so the following spring I purchased this to keep him off the counters. Works great

See-through and simple
This is my 4th different cat watering fountain in about 7 years. They have each had small problems that didn’t affect its functioning. This inexpensive fountain works great with simple assembly and functioning.Works as good or better than more spendy units…as a result I highly recommend it for its simpleness, utility and transparency.

Loved it but didn’t last
My cats absolutley loved it! I ended up buying two. I cleaned them once a week and refilled them everyday and they worked fine. Although I have only had them 6 month they both just gave out. Neither ‘motor’ will turn on and nothing seems to be blocking it or anything. It just started slowing down one day and then gave out within 2 weeks of each other.

Quiet, Nice Looking, Great Price, Cats LOVE IT!
Bought the filter replacements cuz I have 4 cats and will need to change the filters often. My cats took to the fountain right away and I see them drinking more water now that it free- flows, which means – to a cat – that it’s safe to drink. That’s how a cat thinks anyway. 🙂 Can’t believe how super quiet the fountain is! I have it set on fountain mode – there are 2 modes – with the water coming out like a faucet, and it’s as quiet as can be! I bought another one to put in my bedroom for one of my cats because my 3 other cats (had them since 7 week old kittens and they are now 15 years and 14 years) don’t like him too much (he’s a fairly recent rescue), so I have to separate them oftentimes. 🙁 I did have a bit of trouble getting the water to come out of the fountain, but I finally was able to get the motor and tube in position “just right” for the water to start flowing. It was a pain to figure out and the instructions weren’t that great, but now I know what to do and it’s all good! People really need to actually read and comprehend what they are buying. No matter what the picture shows, it clearly states you are buying FILTERS and NOT the water fountain, which is sold separately. The price is a big clue! This fountain is pretty small, but adequate, and no way does it hold 2 gallons of water, as someone mentioned.

Highly recommended, tried other kinds but somehow my cats would not drink from the fountain I’m not sure why, so I bought this brand of filter and, no issues now my cats are well hydrated. Oh failed to mention one important detail, my cats are extremely finicky and fussy – so help me I’ve never felt like a servant/maid to anyone except them.
