Chris Christensen White on White Shampoo has been engineered by professional color experts. White on White is an optic-intensifying treatment within a shampoo – it raises the cuticle layer to deposit violet pigments into the cortex to restore, and correct color, neutralizing yellow tones.

1. Start with a strand test
First-time user? Carry out a strand test in an inconspicuous area to see how long to leave White on White Shampoo in the coat for the desired result.
2. Wash the coat
Wash the coat to ensure it is clean from dirt and residue before applying the color treatment. We recommend Chris Christensen Clean Start Shampoo.
3. Apply White on White
Apply undiluted directly to the coat. Work into a lather and allow to remain for 2-10 minutes depending on the porosity and texture of the coat.

How long does White on White Shampoo last?
White On White is semi-permanent color and lasts up to 4 weeks. For best results follow with After U Bathe Rinse to seal the hair cuticle.
How often should I use White on White Shampoo?
If you bathe weekly/every other week, apply every 3 baths. If you bathe monthly or longer, apply every other bath. If you use the products too often it will cause the pigment to build-up in the cuticle and over-correct.
Can this be used on cats?
Yes, you can use this product on cats from 8-weeks and older.
My dog’s coat is not solid white. Can I still use White on White Shampoo?

Expensive, but truly worth it for white dogs with sensitive skin
I purchased the Chris Christensen White on White Whitening Treatment Dog Shampoo (16 oz) and use it with my white dog at home. Having a white dog who loves being outside often leads to a gray or brown dog, and I’ve tried many different whitening shampoos over the years. Super effective
This is extremely effective shampoo and a little goes a long way. I have a samoyed, which is a breed of dog with a double-layer coat of thick white fur. It’s hard to keep her fur from graying/yellowing after getting her washed, but this stuff really works better and longer than anything else. It makes her fur absolutely SHINE, and it lasts longer than other shampoos we’ve used. The one downside is that it’s quite expensive, but honestly it’s worth it since it works so much more effectively than any other shampoo I’ve ever used for her.

No noticeable difference
I’ve purchased several less expensive whitening shampoos for my Shar Pei mix and never saw any whitening of his coat. He has some yellowing along his spine and toward the base of his tail. I finally decided to splurge on the good stuff.When you’re sitting in the bathroom with a wet, unhappy, dog 10 minutes seems like an eternity, so I only left it on for 5 minutes the first time I bathed him with this shampoo. I noticed NO whitening after his first bath. So the second time I bathed him I drenched him in the shampoo along his spine and tail and left i on for the whole 10 minutes. He had some purple tinted spots for a day or two, but once that faded his yellow was back.It’s a fine shampoo, it just doesn’t work on my dog and I won’t buy it again.

Our Morkie has beautiful white throughout his coat but I could never get it looking white enough. I saw this White on White watching groomers on TV and decided to give it a go.I was doubtful whether it would work because I’m not a professional….I know, weird reasoning, but that’s what I told myself.One wash later and his coat looks BEAUTIFUL. Easy to apply and lathers very nicely to coat and saturate the hair/ fur easily. Rinsed out easily too. I was concerned it might stain my hands too- nope. There is zero scent to this shampoo.It even brightened his Strawberry red colored coat. I truly have not seen that red color on his coat since he was a puppy.This shampoo not only brightens hair/ fur but it also makes it REALLY silky and soft.I am blown away by Chris C’s products. Well worth the extra cost.

We have removed any plastics and are cooking for him now, no kibble. So, I realized that it was time to consider the shampoo we use as well. I decided to spend a little more and get Chris Christensen. Well, it was one of those purchases you keep talking about because it FAR EXCEEEDED EXPECTATIONS! I thought the creamy color on my dog around his ears and elbows was him but found out it was just stains!!! Oh my gosh. And it is important to mention that while I was shampooing him, he got so happy. I couldn’t figure out what was going on with him but I think he felt relief from the soap. Part of his immune disorder includes a red/raw inside of his nose. It used to be on the outside too but some natural treatment is keeping it at bay. Well, after washing our pup, we all noticed the redness inside his nose looked better. I’ll have to provide an update, but we think the old shampoo was not good for him! Anyway, many reasons to try this shampoo. It’s very good!

It did shampoo my Shih Tzu, White/Black but did little to whiten some stained areas around her eyes. I was hoping that after repeated washings that it would do that. Nice smell though

Not only does it whiten the white coat, the darker coat shines, especially when the sun hits it at certain angles. Our pup loves water and he likes to plop in puddles in the summer! He looks like he has gone to the groomer even when he’s bathed (and dried) at home. And I’m always asked if he enters competitions! No, he doesn’t. 🙂
