This product worked as well as advertised. I wasted money on those gloves with nubs and threw them away! I love the way this brush cleans itself. I find I brush my cat way more regularly.

UPDATE: June 2021:I use this brush daily on my cat. He loves it/demands it. Today, I essentially broke the brush when I tried to clean some fur out of the space in between the 2 plastic plates. I bent some bristles to the point the brush is no longer effective. This is my fault. I am so glad this brush is still for sale on Amazon. I’m buying another one today. It takes a long time for fur to collect between the plates. Don’t worry about that part.UPDATE: It is 3 years and 3 months since I bought this brush. What a great design! The wire bristles stay straight and the push button makes it easy to remove the hair. My 3 short hair cats ‘demand’ I brush them with this brush. They love it. If I start brushing one cat and the other 2 cats hear it, they come running and beg to be brushed. Regarding hair removal from the brush, push the button many times until the cat hair finally gives up and falls into the wastebasket. The button is easy to push.SUGGESTION TO THE MANUFACTURER:Build a case that protects the bristles from getting bent when traveling. My brushes have never travelled but I can see where this could be an issue.UPDATE: One year later. This brush is great! The wire bristles stay straight due to its excellent self cleaning design. I’m buying a third brush today. Not because the other two are worn out but because I want these conveniently placed in multiple rooms of the house.This brush is great! If your cats like a wire brush like my 3 cats do, then buy this brush. When I ask my cats if they want a brushin’ then show them my brush they come running for it! When you push the button on the back it will temporarily hide the bristles making it super easy to remove the hair without damaging the bristles. As a result the bristles stay perfectly straight. I don’t know if using this brush daily will reduce flea issues but my cats have no fleas.Some reviewers complain their cats hate wire brushes. In some cases I wonder if the owners are pressing too hard when they brush their cats. The bonier the cat the lighter you should brush with this thing. Seems like common sense but some people lack it.

Calling all cats!
I’ve tried several brushes for our little lions and this brush does the best job because of the wire bristles and the narrow points. In addition to collecting the most fur, the bristles also feel good on the cat’s itchy skin — just don’t apply too much pressure. The cleaning action is also worthy of mention. Simply push the button and whip away the loose fur into the trash. Something that may be the most important thing to mention is the brush is suitable for all types of cats; thick, furry cats to those that have thin coats.

Perfect kitty size
This brush has made grooming our 5 cats a wonderful bonding experience for the cats and us. The cats love it, and I’m convinced that they line up for it.. It looks solid and well made. It grabs the fine undercoat well and the handle is comfortable. The head size is small enough to get under their chins, which they LOVE.The push button cleaning is a must for me and works perfectly. Definitely a good purchase. Our cats look so much better. Brushing is now a joy for everyone.

Bought a second one
I needed a second one. This is the best brush I’ve used in our multi-cat household. We have a variety of breeds and hair types but they all actually enjoy grooming with this brush. The amount of excess fur this removes is impressive, and it does so with a minimum of effort.

This brush is amazing. It blows any other brush out of the water. The way it’s made is revolutionary. Seriously, it’s changed my and my cat’s life! Wayyyy less hairballs to cough up and way less cat hair to wear on my clothes all day! Win-win! It’s super easy to use and the “self-cleaning” feature is really convenient. The only complaint I could possibly think of is some of the bristles are a little wonky, like they might be poking my cat in weird directions when I brush him. I may have just gotten a bad batch..even then I wouldn’t call it bad. It’s just that some bristles came bent when I received it. Other than that, I recommend this a million times and I’ll be buying a few more to keep at every corner of the house!!!

My cat loves this!
I just adopted a 7 year old cat with beautiful long hair. I use this gently on him once or twice a day and he loves it! He even lets me brush his tail. It even detangles small clumps before they turn into mats. I use it very lightly and it does the job. I highly recommend this. The clever release press makes cleaning super easy. What a wonderful invention!

Best slicker brush I’ve used so far.
LOVE THIS BRUSH! I have three short-haired cats, but they shed like there’s no tomorrow. I have tried several other brushes, but they never seem to capture the shed appropriately. I used this brush on my one cat that sheds the most and I instantly fell in love. The design is perfect and the handle is comfortable. When you press the push button, it actually keeps the shed hair intact in a packed sheet, which is so much easier to remove and throw away. It feels like a salon-quality brush! I would highly recommend this brush for at home grooming.

This is so easy to use and removes excess cat hair very quickly and without much brushing at all. The push in feature which pops the hair off is fantastic.

It is a good brush. It gets a lot of hair and it is easy to clean. My cat does tolerate it a bit better than the Furminator. He was a rescue so I think he just does not like being groomed. Of the many tools I tried this was the best.

Cette brosse est excellent pour le poile très long de mon chat Maine Coon. Elle aime bien que c’est moins travail pour faire sa “grooming”. C’est aussi facile pour déposer le fourreur dans le poubelle. Mon seule problème c’est que j’avais espéré pour une poignée un peut plus longe, donc moins de risque d’être rayé.
