A solid toy if you limit its use
Our Norwegian Elkhound is an aggressive chewer, particularly of soft toys. We don’t really let her have them unless we are playing with her with them or she’ll tear them to shreds in now time. Even under those conditions most toys don’t last very long.This one has been a good exception. She enjoys engaging with it, and it has lasted a few weeks now with only a few small tears from our time playing with it. If I let her have it, there’s no way it would last the afternoon, but if we play with it together it’s pretty easy to keep her from tearing it up and it isn’t falling apart from the tug play itself. She is quite happy, and asks to play with it frequently, so it has been a good purchase for us.

Jute part holding up but one of the handles came out on one side
Used it several times now the jute part is holding up nicely but one of the handles just pulled out after about 6 times of use. Not to happy about that. I don’t know if this one has a canvas liner Yet. (couldn’t get anyone to tell me if it did or didn’t. Stupid AI couldn’t get out of it’s loop) I have bought this type of tug from someone else in the past. First one was great, had an inner liner of canvas which kept the jute in-tacked. Second time, was a total bust. One bite and the jute pulled out of the stitching No canvas liner just stuffing.

not for aggressive chewer
I have an aggressive chewer (Malinois), so didn’t expect this toy to last for more than two weeks. However, our dog chewed off the handles within an hour. A few hours later, the toy was already fraying. The next day, he had the stuffing coming out and somehow, that made him cough. He has gotten into stuffing from other toys/objects that have never made him cough like that. We threw it away after just 2 days.I want to note that the edges of the yellow toy we received were not reinforced as it seems that some of the colors have. But the toy was a perfect size and nice design. Just not tough enough.

Good Durable Tug Bumper
Just the right size for my lab as she’s quite the tugger. Good durable construction and no issues so far. Withstands the torque of a 90lb retriever . Great retrieving trainer as well. Good value for the price.

El juguete parece ser muy resistente a los colmillos y dientes de mi perrita belga malinois de 1 año y 4 meses de edad, no lastima las encías y los cordones de cada extremo hasta este momento muy resistentes y vaya que he jugado mucho con mi perra en lo que va de 3 días. Además tiene bonita imágen.no pongo 5 estrellas porque apenas tengo 3 días de uso. Espero dure mucho tiempo. Sí la recomiendo.

I’ve got a 13 month old Golden Retriever. He loves playing tug. But he’s not very good at it. He’s very soft mouthed. But I’ve been able to get him to tug on these ones. The texture is rather well made but is soft enough for my boy to grab on to. He doesn’t like grabbing onto balls or hard things so this is fantastic. I’ve bought a couple now. The first one I left in the car & he found it & chewed a hole in it.
