Major size discrepancy
I bought this dog coat for my dog of 18 lbs the recommendation was medium! Way too small, reordered a large and received a medium after requesting a large! Now i received large and that doesn’t fit! Dont buy from this distributor, a waste of time! They need to educate themselves on sizes!

Very nice dig coat.
The coat is attractive and looks like it will be warm. The quality of the zipper and the coat overall seems good too. The durability will probably be ok since the coat feels well made. The value is great for the money. The length of the coat is perfect.The only thing that is screwy is the company’s sizing guide. My dog weighs 22 pounds and yet required a size XL coat for medium and large dogs. The XXL would be too large but the XL is perhaps a little snug, but it fits.

Quality seems okay but sizing is a bit of a crapshoot with this product.
Chi-Pug measured Chest-19″ Neck-12″ Back 14″ almost spot on for the medium but we ordered a small (red). Guess we were worried about it being too baggy and interfering with legs and feet. We had also ordered a medium (green) for our other dog which ended much too small for her. So, when I tried the medium (green) on the Chi-Pug it was a good fit. So decided to return both for different sizes. The medium (red) came next day before I actually returned the others. After seeing the medium (red) was very snug I compared it to the medium (green) and found it to be about 3/4 inch smaller in the body width. Thus, it is a very snug (nearly too tight) fit in the body. Now wishing I had ordered the large. That seems to be a sizing quality assurance issue from China so not sure what to expect if we do another return and we’ll just keep what we have now.For our rescue breed that looks something like a miniature 23 lb Weimaraner (but no Weimar). We returned the medium (green) for an XL red (didn’t like the green) and it is a good fit. Her measurements for the XL were actually spot on for the chest and back, but the neck measurement was over 5 inches larger than her neck. So I was worried about the neck size but turned out that the neck size fit well and wasn’t an issue.My recommendation is go with the Chest and Back measurements and maybe add 1 inch to each. The neck size was never an issue for either dog.Product thoughts – the coat is 100% polyester, smooth on the outside (colored) but fleece (black) on the inside so know that dog hair will stick to the fleece inside. The smooth outside polyester repels water well. The inside polyester fleece will absorb water. There’s a small zipper on the left side near the back, it seems to serve no purpose other than maybe give a little more room in the body. One thing I appreciate – the harness is not physically sown into the jacket (moves freely in sleeves) so if your dog pulls on the leash the harness won’t pull directly on the jacket to stress any seams.

This is a great idea and works as advertised. Nice to have a warm coat with the harness built in. So much easier to keep your dog warm without trying to squeeze a harness over their jacket.

Not durable, straps snapped
Super cute, fits was great, adjustability was great.. two straps that clip together for the harness snapped on 3rd use (not the clip but both straps simultaneously). I love the concept of built in harness which is why i bought it but if your dog pulls at all I do not recommend. My 11lb yorkie almost got hit by a car because he pulled to chase a squirrel and the next thing I knew my retractable leash was coming back to me and yogi was across the street, the car missing him by 3 feet. I gave 2 stars because not every dog is as rambunctious as mine but buyer beware.

Coat is great but straps are terrible
The coat itself is great, but the straps are terrible. We ordered a XS one for our dog that was only about 8 pounds at the time, and the straps broke after a few weeks. I was able to fix it and use the coat along with a different harness to serve our purposes for a little while longer, but then we ordered one in size S when our dog got bigger (about 12 pounds now) and the straps broke AGAIN on the very first use. Clearly, there’s a quality issue here.
