IT’S A MUST HAVE FOR WINTER
When I order items from Amazon I’ve learned it’s the luck of the draw as to the quality I’ll receive. I was pleasantly surprised and thiscoat deserves 10 stars. It’s not only as good as described, it’s better. The sizing guide was spot on, it fits my little Scrappy perfectly. The quality at this price point is very excellent. The material is waterproof, the lining is the perfect thickness and very soft. The fur around the collar is thicker and very warm. The stitching is excellent and will ensure durability. I appreciate the reflective strips and the durability of the velcro. The fur lined collar is a nice feature because it can be turned up to cover part of the head and ears on those very windy days. This coat is stylish, stays in place allowing my dog to walk or run without me having to stop to readjust his coat. It’s nice to know that there are true old school quality items that exist on Amazon and that I was lunch enough to find one. Going to order the red and one more black. Also going to purchase one for my “furphew”.

Excellent coat for large chest dogs, harness hole zipper is a game changer!
This is a great coat. My dog is a 50 lb Coonhound mix. His chest is narrow but dips low, 31” at the widest part. Trying to find a coat that would fit him in the chest, and allow room for his harness, isn’t easy with his neck and body length measurements because he’s not a wide dog. I got the 2XL, and the length to his tail is perfect, and he has extra room in the chest. The sides come down a bit to give him good coverage. It’s comfortably loose without being too loose.The insulation will keep him warm in NH winters.The adjustable clip to secure the coat around his belly is great. The collar is soft and comfortable, the coat is nice and soft. There are leg loops that can be used to secure the coat around your dog on the tail end if needed, but you don’t have to use them and they are hidden out of the way if you choose to not use them.The zipper to allow for the harness loop is a game changer! It’s so difficult to get an exact fit for the harness hole, but with this double zipper that is a few inches long you’re sure to be able to fit yours just fine.

XLG Red wind/rain dog jacket is great
It is hard to find a good dog jacket that fits, that can properly adjust to your dog, that is warm enough without being too warm and slim enough for the dog’s comfort, and easy to put on. This jacket has reflectors, it prevents rain and wind from irritating your dog, it has a chest cover and a warm lining I also like a bright color so we can be seen on the dark wooded road. Everything I was looking for.A+

Let’s go play in the snow.
This vest seems well made. I debated on the size between XL & 2XL. My doodle is 50 lbs neck and chest size matched XL but length was at XL Limit. I opted for the XL it fits nicely around neck & chest, but could be a little longer along back. I was not going to use back leg straps so the shorter length won’t hinder back strap use. Using those elastic straps would complicate putting the vest on. Over all, nice looking, water & windproof. Easy to put on without using back elastic straps. Weight is a little lighter than expected but the vest will only be used for short exposure time.Would purchase again.Picture shows the shorter length. The vest actually goes farther back but chest strap was too loose and vest worked forward on his chest.

Nice jacket
I purchased a 2XL for my Saint berdoodle who is about 70 pounds. It fits her great with room to grow. This is a nice jacket but those back leg straps need to go. I’m going to cut mine off. It’s easy to get on and off and is waterproof. I checked.

Beautiful well made coat. It was just too big around her chest and it’s very long which is nice it covers their entire back. Heavy duty and warm with padding where the buckles snap together to minimize friction. I’m definitely going to order a smaller size. Highly recommend.

Its OK, not great
Top fabric is super thin and not waterproof, unfortunately will tear with the slightest snag. It does provide warmth with the stuffing and fleece. Fits well and top zipper for leash attachment is nice.

Es muy cómoda para él, camina muy bien, le permite correr. No le pongo la cinta elástica de las patas traseras, no sé cómo le iría pero no creo que se sintiera cómodo así que ni lo intenté. Es el abrigo impermeable que le he comprado que más le protege de la lluvia y eso le hace feliz, menos tiempo de secador cada vez que regresamos a casa. Además de ir muy calentito. Es muy rápido de poner lo que hace que le ponga siempre que salimos hacer un recado los días de frío.El pedido lo gestionaron el mismo día. Me llegó mucho antes de la fecha indicada.Le doy cinco estrellas pero le daría seis si pudiera, me llegó antes del frío y de las lluvias, y ahora mismo es el que utiliza todas las veces que salimos.

This is the 2nd time I bought this coat(lost the other one) and it fits okay the girth is a little big I had to tighten it all the way I got a 3XL for my presa canairo mastiff and it would be nice if they added leg straps as there isn’t any and the back end like to roll up but over all its a good coat and will do for the cold winters

Winter is approaching and my dog (female beagle) was starting to tremble with 1-3deg C and her ears were completely cold after a 20 min walk. Today was -4degC and she seemed ok on a 30min walk no trembling and her ears were still warm. We like the neck is wide enough. She didn’t like the two elastics on the back, but to be honest the coat stays put without them. It looks like water passes through, but the inside stays dry. I’ll update once we reach temperatures below 10deg or more.Waterproof update: sorry to say with Intense rain and melting snowflakes the coat got completely wet inside too in less than 10 minutes.
