Reliable, Easy, Well-Built, and Worth the Price
This e-collar has been a great solution for managing barking. It charges via USB-C (finally!), feels very solid, and is super easy to use right out of the box—no phone needed, though the app is a nice bonus if you want extra control. My dog adjusted quickly and isn’t bothered by wearing it. Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed, effective tool with great build quality.The Smart NOBARK uses advanced bark recognition that filters out ambient noise, so it only activates when my dog actually barks—no false triggers. You can toggle between modes like “Pager Only,” “Constant Level,” or progressive correction depending on your training goals. The collar remembers your last setting and recharges quickly via USB-C, with battery life that easily lasts several days. Bonus, when you power it off it reports the battery level on the screen. The app gives you detailed control over levels and logs bark activity, but it’s totally optional if you prefer to keep things simple. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable bark collar that can have expanded functionality. Also, there’s no question of its durability as Dogtra makes this to the same quality standards as their collars and remotes used on field trial and hunting dogs. I’ve had cheaper versions in the past that are in fact cheaper in every sense of the word.I initially thought there’s no way I’ll connect this to my phone but ended up doing so just to see what it offers. I think it’s a really cool idea that shows how much the dog barked at what time of day. It also serves as an e-collar using your phone as the transmitter. I have a stand alone e-collar but that’s a separate system this is a really cool addition just to have if you needed it.Both my kids are able to easily turn on and cycle through modes as needed and it has been a welcome addition to help train our dog. For reference the dog pictured is just shy of 100 lbs.

Glitches and malfunctions
Worked well for a week then it started glitching and correcting my dog when there was no noise. I wore it on my wrist for 20 minutes and it was triggered three times in a silent room.

I never expected to write a hype review for a dog collar, but here we are. The DogTra NoBark Smart AI collar is a GAME CHANGER.Pairing this with the iOS app took seconds. No fuss, no Bluetooth dropouts—just tap, connect, and go. Within a minute, I was adjusting settings while our dog explored, unaware that life as he knew it (and our sanity) was about to change.We chose DogTra over other brands because it allows vibration-only correction. We didn’t want static electricity for our dog—he’s a sensitive guy—but the vibration alone works like a charm. It doesn’t hurt him, but it immediately stops the barking, like magic. He tilts his head as if to say, “Got it. I’ll stop.”The iOS app is excellent. It’s intuitive for setting sensitivity, viewing activity, and tracking how often he barks. The collar feels high-quality, and while it’s a bit pricey, the performance justifies it. Our house is finally peaceful without feeling like we’re zapping our best friend.If your dog barks and you want a humane, smart solution, this is the collar. 10/10 would bark-proof again.

I love this no bark collar. I thought when I got it, how could it be any different than the brands I’ve tried. But it actually is. The small things – like the adjustability ease with the app, make the biggest difference. And with this collar my dog is only getting stimulations at the appropriate times (other collars shocked him for other loud noises).First, I was doubtful I would use/like the App (as I just don’t usually like using apps with products as I typically see it as just a complication). But I really appreciate being able to adjust setting without having to do a billion button presses on the ecollar itself. More importantly, I value how much I can fine tune the settings.My dog growls quietly when we play (in a way that indicates his enjoyment). Other ecollars, would apply a shock in this case (if set too sensitive) – but if set less sensitive would not correct him for barking. The dogtra collar differentiates. So I’m not having to take the collar on/off all every time we play.Love turning off whining/howling. My dog doesn’t whine/howl, so less chance of it triggering for random noises similar to these. The sensitivity and levels of correction can really be fine tuned to be perfect for him.I love being able to adjust all settings on the fly. So he can be corrected for excessive barking for someone down thr sidewalk, but if I know the mailman is coming to the door, I can turn off corrections for a minute because I don’t mind him barking if someone is actually at the door. To do this on any other collar, I have to take it off/on.Love using the usb-c charging. Finally less random chargers sitting around the house.Lots of other good features too that we dont really need (here you can use just vibration, just counting, etc), but I’m sure someone might find these beneficial.Not many cons. Only thing i can think of is if you have a really giant breed, you would need a different (longer) strap for thr ecollar. But probably this strap would fit up to 24″ neck.Collar works great when not connected to it with the app. So you can turn off Bluetooth on your phone /only turn it on if you want to adjust. Collar reciever looks and feels quality. Screen on it is great and is easy to read.My dog seems much happier with this collar vs the ecollar technologies and sport dog collars (as am I). Charging is easy , no batteries , usb-c is so nice. It has not been triggered incorrectly when he shakes his head or a toy (like the othe brands were).I would recommend it.
