Strong with an easy-to-use locking mechanism that just works
Before this, I’d tried my luck with a less expensive product that turned out to be a waste of time, if not money. I returned that product after having given it a fair shot for about a week, having been convinced in the end that it was just no good. As soon as I had this leash in my hands, I knew immediately the quality was much higher. I put it to work right away on a nice, long walk with my dog, who is still a puppy with lots of energy and very strong. The retraction mechanism worked perfectly, and the guide where the tape reels in and out did a good job of making sure it didn’t get tangled, but the best part was the locking mechanism. I think that’s the weak spot in the less expensive knock-offs, but in this leash, it worked flawlessly every time. It locks and unlocks easily, and will stay locked when you press the switch to engage that. This leash is a bit heavier than others I’ve tried, but in a good way. It does not feel flimsy or cheap at all. Everything works smoothly, and it feels quite strong. Time will tell, but I think this will be something that will last, even with an eager and strong puppy pulling on it when she sees a squirrel.

Smooth, Strong, and Great for Daily Walks
The FLEXI New Classic Cord Retractable Dog Leash is a fantastic choice for medium-sized dogs. The retracting mechanism is incredibly smooth — it extends without tugging and retracts quickly without jamming. The handle has a comfortable, ergonomic feel that makes longer walks easier on your hands. The leash itself is strong and lightweight, giving your dog plenty of freedom while still keeping you in full control. The brake and lock system works flawlessly and feels secure, even with more energetic pups.Overall, this leash is reliable, well-made, and makes walks feel easier and more enjoyable. Definitely a great upgrade for any dog owner! 🐾

Quality retractable.
This is a well made high quality retractable lead that works very well for my small but very active eight pound Yorkie. Has more lead available than I need but the lock to keep more lead from extending is easy to use and works well. Good quality lead that is smooth and feeds in and out smoothly. The snap that attaches to the collar or harness is HD and easy to operate. Priced right also. I would recommend and buy again.

Excellent leash
This leash has worked very well for us. We used it all summer and had no issues of wearing. It was helpful for working on recall for our puppy. It retracts, locks, and unlocks very easily and I think it’s comfortable to hold.We did find we needed to be cautious because there was one instance our puppy started running and I got a rope burn across my leg while my boyfriend was holding the leash. We’ve been able to avoid that since it happened, we just needed to get used to how to use the leash

Good product, just too small…
I purchased the XS retractable leash for my 10 lb Papillion/Dachshund mix. The quality is good, price was great & the pink color is really cute. The Pros: It’s compact, lite weight, & durable. It uses a round leash line, instead of the flat ribbon version. The ribbon version twists & gets caught up when it reels back in. The round version works much smoother & never binds up.The Cons: The length of the leash line is about 5-6 feet. Not much longer then a standard nylon leash. Which kinda of negates the purpose of using a retractable leash.Secondly, it’s soo small that I can only fit three fingers into the handle grip, instead of all four which gives you a better more comfortable grip. The first time I used this leash was quite traumatic. Luckily we just left the house & were in my front yard, plus we didn’t expect the line to be so short. As soon as she ran out & the leash extended out its total 6 feet it jerked her back & because neither of us expected that she kept running & snatched the leash right out of my uncomfortable three finger grip. The leash hit the ground, retracted itself along the ride & flew up & hit her in the butt. Luckily she stopped but was standing like a deer in the middle of the road. I was able to approach her & scoop her up before any cars came along. Luckily a happy ending. My dog is a rescue dog & unfortunately she had a long, abusive life before coming to live with me. So these lil normal events to most are fearful reminders of her past.Needless to say I returned this leash, got a full refund & learned some valuable lessons. Read product descriptions thoroughly & test everything out before using it on her.Overall this is a good product. If you have a teeny tiny dog that you want on a short leash & you have tiny hands.

Good and easy to use
This is a good extended dog leash. I’ve used it a few times and the quality is good. I like the retraction leashes better because they are stronger, they don’t ever get tangled and they retract back faster.

Another great FLEXI
I purchased this leash for my 11 lb. Havanese. It’s the perfect size/length. I’m a fan of the FLEXI brand, and this leash doesn’t disappoint. I like the black tape. His other FLEXI has a light gray tape, and it quickly appeared dirty and dingy. I prefer black or yellow tape. It’s not reflective so isn’t easily visible after dark. It does lock easily, and I prefer this classic tape style over other options.

Great leash and supper easy to use!
Great leash works well, I like the lock button it feels secure and very easy to use.The length is short but long enough to give the pup his privacy when needed, no long so he can wonder as he wish! I won’t advise to get the Black color as it’s hard to see in the closet! In general I’m very happy with this product

Excellent product—sturdy, well-made, and feels reliable and high-quality!It works perfectly for our 10 kg, very energetic, 7-month-old Shiba Inu. I chose the larger size just to be safe in case he suddenly runs after something and gets stopped by the rope—I didn’t want it to break. The retracting mechanism works smoothly, and it returns on its own very easily. Purchased also Flexi 25210783: Multi Box Blk and it fist perfectly! I’m very glad I chose this product!
