My go-to puppy pads
I’ve been using the Glad for Pets black charcoal puppy pads for my rescue dachshunds for several years. I’ve tried a number of other brands of pads, but I prefer these over the rest. Dachshunds are small dogs but their bladders can hold an amazing amount of liquid. The charcoal pads absorb the liquid quickly so there’s less chance for odors. Dachshunds have minds of their own, so I can’t speak for every one of them. But I can report that all of my dachsies have accepted and used the Glad for Pets Black Charcoal puppy pad without hesitation. I keep them on hand all the time so I can put one down when I know I’m going to be gone longer than a couple of hours. I put out one pad per dog if I have multiple dogs in the house, overlapping the pads slightly. The pads are extra absorbent and hold a lot of liquid, but I’d rather be on the safe side and allow for all contingencies. Just like people, some dogs need to pee more often when they’re stressed. These pads are insurance that help keep my dachsies and me from stressing over the small things. 🙂

excellent, wish for large sizes too
excellent. plastic side contains liquids and does not have that cheapy grainy-sticky feel other pads often do. the cotton side is absorbent, soft, and silent. wonderfully fragrance free. wish they came in all sizes, Id like one for a bed topper since my pet gravitates there when not feeling well.

WORST PEE PADS EVER – PEE LEAKS THROUGH PADS ONTO FLOOR
These are the absolute worst pee pads that I have ever purchased. When my puppy goes pee it seeps through that pad and onto the floor, I have to put several down to make it thick enough. Do not purchase these they are over priced and not worth the money.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!!!!! If I could give them a negative 5 star I absolutely would

They serve their purpose and mask odor
I use these at the back door as I have an elderly dog that tends to have accidents right as he is going out the door. If it is just a tiny accident I will leave it until he has a bigger accident or to the end of the day – which ever comes first. The charcoal masks any smell and they are absorbent.

A little leaky, but still great
The quality and value are great, but the little folded up side bits don’t do much to mitigate overflow if your animal tends to pee straight and you’ll end up having to clean up pee afterwords. That being said, they hold a lot of fluids and don’t smell, so other than the runoff issue these are great. It should be mentioned that I am using these for a cat.

Many uses
We use them for the dogs, and for anything that could get messy. They absorb good. We put our dirty boots on them, used them to put under my foot after surgery. We have put them in between the sheets to prevent soiling the mattress after surgery.

These Pads are great! They absorb liquid quickly and lock in odors, keeping my home smelling fresh. The black color is a great touch (wife says it looks better than white pads with yellow stains)—it hides messes better than traditional white pads, making clean-up feel less stressful. They do tend to have a bit of smell if your dog had a lot to drink that day and you let it drag but im talking about 6-7 soaked in wizzes.I also love that they don’t leak or spread moisture underneath, which is a huge plus compared to other brands I’ve tried. My puppy took to them right away, and they’ve been a lifesaver during potty training.I do wish they had different sizes for this particular model or higher counts but i still highly recommend them for pet owners looking for reliable, high-quality pads! Have bought multiple and will definitely be repurchasing

I am highly disappointed in these. They are no better than the dollar store ones for leaking. if my dog does not pee in the centre of the pad and closer to the edge, it overflows all over so it defeats the purpose completely. I was hopeful. I was not impressed.I can’t even say if it held the smell of urine in because it was all over my kitchen floor.
