I bought this cat GPS collar a few days ago and it arrived surprisingly fast—couldn’t wait to put it on my cat right away! I noticed some reviewers mentioned connection issues, but following the user manual step by step made pairing super easy. If you run into trouble, a quick restart usually fixes it (just be patient if it takes a minute!).The positioning sound is gentle and clear, no loud beeps that scare my cat at all—he didn’t even fuss when I put the collar on. The reflective strip is a total game-changer too: whenever he hides under the couch or in the closet, I can spot him instantly in dim light.I’ve been having so much fun with it, basically playing hide-and-seek with my cat by checking the position—he thinks he’s sneaky, but I always find him! Cute collar but GPS tag does not give you live time location to find your pet.
This is a review that’s hard to write because it’s basically 2 products.First, the collar. The collar is cute, and has a little bell. It’s considered breakaway but was hard for me to get it open the first few times. I like the silicon holder that holds the GPS tag onto the collar and it slides nicely. The collar is adjustable and very light weight for your cat.GPS tag; this tag uses the “FindMy” iOS app. The app you do not need to register for and there is no subscription fee. All good things. However, the app and this product claims that you can find things/your cat in “real time”. Not true. I don’t know why I struggle with this, unless it’s the tag but, mine can sit at the same location for 20 minutes and all of a sudden, finally move across town. Nothing I do will coax it to give me the live time location. No matter what I try, I have to wait until it decides it wants to advance. It could be 10 minutes, it could be 22 or 9 minutes. It jumps from one location to another and if I go to that location, no cat. I have to wait only to find out he’s a mile away now so I go there and he’s not there anymore. I can not pinpoint anything on this tag. When it does give me a location, it is always correct for that minute only. I don’t have trouble with similar tags so, I’m guessing it’s this one only.So the collar, is good, the silicon tag holder is good, but the tag itself….not so good when needing to find a cat that moves around.

I found this collar to be very cute on my cat. The collar itself seems to be very durable and it fit him well. The bell was not nearly as loud and annoying as I imagined it to be. As for the location tag, it could not have come at a better time because my cat had been missing for some time in the very recent past. Setting the tag up to my Find My app was pretty self-explanatory and it worked well on the app. I have not had any use to try to find my cat very far away as of yet, but it shows very well in the app with him wondering outside, so I’m not too worried. The signal is pretty good and the accuracy is well enough that I think I could get close enough to call my cat to me if he was lost.

I followed the instructions, and maybe I received just a dud tracker. I even changed the battery as another reviewer stated his had a dead battery. Unfortunately, that didn’t work either. The tracker wouldn’t turn on.The cat collar that came with it is a very cute collar with reflective markers, breakaway capability, a tiny bell and a cute cat face that makes up the buckle. If the tracker had worked this would have been a great, tracking device.

Good For Keeping Your Furry Ones Safe!
I actually got this GPS collar for my little dog. She’s around the size of a cat and the collar fits her fine. I only plan on using it when I take her places and I worry that she may get away from me somehow.The battery that came with the tracker was DOA, but I happened to have more around the house. It was a little difficult to open the tracker to install the battery – at least for old hands like mine – but I managed to get it done.Finding and adding it in the Apple Find My app was easy and it worked as expected. It has an option to play a sound, which might be good for a more precise location. The sound isn’t very loud, but I still found it loud enough to hear from across the room, even though I don’t hear very well. It also comes with a lanyard for whatever reason.Overall, it works as expected and I think it’s a great value for the asking price. I’d pay much more to keep my little doggy safe.
