I’m happy I can see (through the camera) that my dog is getting his food at a regular time and if needed, I can adjust the amount or time of feeding on the app! It also gives you a log of when and how much food was disbursed. This also makes it easier for people who watch my animals when I’m out of town, so they don’t have to stress about being there at certain times and can go when it fits their schedule. This unit has been a great help, I wish I found it sooner!!Appreciated feature- the feeding bowl is easily removable for cleaning!!

Doesn’t connect to the app, the button works once in three times. And my biggest concern is the bowl, very harsh smell and metal residue, poisonous for pets

Effective for our medium-sized dog
I was skeptical to try this for my dog, as it seems more designed for cats. However, I read a review of someone with a medium sized dog, so I decided to try it. It works as advertised. A few FYI’s (not complaints, just good to know): 1. It’s very lightweight, so I built a base to keep our dog from knocking it over. She’s not very food aggressive, otherwise it’s possible she could’ve knocked it apart. 2. Product does not (that I saw) define a “serving size” so it was tricky to determine how many servings to dispense. I concluded a serving size dispensed is roughly a tablespoon amount. So, I set daily feeding servings as 7 to get to roughly a half cup. The container appears to hold a week or more of surplus. 3. The lid does not screw on and off, which is fine if you know it. It has arrows to turn to tighten, but you basically pry it off, which is easy enough, as long as you know. Overall, we are very happy with this, and it dispenses daily at noon for our dog, which is what I programmed. We’ve been using it a week and it hasn’t missed a feeding.

Alright, this feeder works. It does the job very well, and has a pretty good portion size. It works with multiple cats, if they aren’t food aggressive! When I was out of town it was very helpful to know they had been fed and I was able to see which cat was eating. I was also able to talk to them, or set a feeding sound. It does have night vision, that also works quite well. They have knocked it over many times, but have never opened it, or got food out. My only issue, is that they can knock it over, it has never been damaged, or stopped working after they have put a beating on it, which was surprising. All in all, this is the product I would buy again, and know it was reliable if properly weighted down.
