Still working great 4 months later
I’ve been looking for the perfect water fountain for years, and this one is really good. I bought two, and the filter motors are still as silent as the first day we got them. I did have to get out a new one a few days ago, after I left it unplugged for a few days because it took me a few days to get around to cleaning it. After that, it just… didn’t turn back on. Didn’t last long, but at least they give you too. The other one that’s been used since the first day is still working just fine, as strong and silent as ever. Lesson learned, don’t leave them unplugged for too long lolI try to clean these once a week so they last a long time and they’re easy to take apart and clean–no tiny pieces. And they don’t get super dirty or disgusting fast like others I’ve tried (plastic and stainless steel), even when I didn’t clean them for two weeks once. Usually by that time for other fountains I’ve tried, the filter motor slows to a dribble, but these ones were just as strong two weeks without being cleaned! The colors (I got green and purple) are also very pretty. And, of course, the cats love them! These are great!

I’m legitimately surprised this isn’t considered the go-to cat fountain. It should be.
I was a little hesitant to buy this – I’ve always used stainless steel for my cats’ bowls, and the fountains that are stainless steel are widely cheaper than this – but I read on reddit that if you’re looking to cut down on slime, that ceramic was the way to go. So I spent just a little more than I was planning to on this fountain and it was worth every penny. My oldest cat took to it immediately, and my youngest quickly followed him. Which is what you’re always worried about when you buy a pet something – that you’ll spend a lot of money and they won’t take to it – no problem here.The fountain itself is attractive, you could probably set it on a table if you were so inclined and use it as a centerpiece. The blue color I received was wonderful, the gradient coloring means it matched all the blue in my kitchen.There’s very little plastic in it, you get an extra motor, not that I’ve needed it. The sponge filter cleans easily. The fountain itself cleans up nice in the dishwasher, but in the time I’ve had it, it has never need much more than a light rinse and wipe.It’s remarkably quiet. Incredibly sturdy. Assembly is easy. Works great as soon as you get it together and plugged in. It’s heavy, your cats are not going to be able to move this around when its full – my 15 lb orange boy can attest.And the cats are drinking so much more now. I fill it back up almost every day. Never thought something like this would make such a difference, but it has. Honestly wish I could another right now – maybe in the future.

Amazing water fountain!
Amazing and super quiet! This is my favourite water fountain for my cats ever, we’ve used metal and plastic before but those get moldy, harbor bacteria, are frustrating to clean and, LOUD! But this one? Beautiful, ceramic, easy to clean and quiet. My cats love it and got to using it super easily, I replace my filters once every two weeks since that’s what works for me with my girls. Plus my cats drink sooo much more water with this fountain I feel like I’ve been refilling it a lot more than my girls past fountains

The better fountain!
I struggled with the previous water fountain that was plastic for my cat and the cleaning that came along with it. With or without filters it would create grime within the water plus changing the sponge that was supposed to catch debris kept changing color.. it was gross. Even with the stainless steel top it left water stains. Instead of plastic or stainless steel I thought glass/ceramic would be best. It will last way longer than the other materials and be easier to clean as the plastic had crevices that hindered with biofilm and that was me cleaning what felt like 2 times a week 🙁 For the sake of my cat, I did not want her water getting her sick as she was not wanting to drink from the plastic one if she felt it was not clean. She was hesitant for the past day to give this new one a shot but it is so quiet unlike the plastic one. When the plastic one was low on water it was so annoying to hear. The pressure is strong as well and I love the green, sleek, elegant design. It holds less than half a gallon of water and comes with extra charcoal filters, pumps and sponge. Forget the option of plastic or stainless steel, get ceramic even if it’s a little more!

Quality Fountain
Our cats love this fountain. Looks nice and is quiet. It is easy to maintain, however, the downside is you have to clean it every other day or the foam filter begins to smell like an aquarium filter. I also have to change both filters every two weeks. It is sturdy and worth the price.

Shipping did take a while and the filter was a little confusing but overall really good. Very pretty and doesn’t make a noise unless it needs filling up.
