Safe, Contained and Comfortable
This MARSLABO Dog Car Seat is just right for my little YorkiPoo. He is 9 lbs and can sit up and look around or lay down and relax. The height is adjustable so for a dog who may get car sick, you can lower it so the dog can’t see outside. The quality is excellent and great for the price. It can be removed/installed very easily. Unlike some other fabric products, this item has no smell whatsoever. The MARSLABO Dog Car Seat is perfect for my little YorkiPoo, who weighs 9 pounds. He can sit up and look around or lie down and relax comfortably. The height of the seat is adjustable, which is great for dogs that may experience car sickness; you can lower it so they can’t see outside. The quality is excellent, and it’s a fantastic value for the price. Additionally, it is very easy to install and remove. Unlike some other fabric products, this one has no odor at all.

I had to get a car seat for my Jack Russell because she kept wandering all over the car, opening the windows and barking at every car that went by. It was easy to install and she can sit up securely and look out of the window!

A Little tweak here and there assures Extra Comfort
In other reviews, I could not see if the lobster clip and eyelet were sharp or had rounded edges. This was a major concern for me. The eyelets are nicely blunt rounded edges with no metal spurs. The lobster clips are heavy duty. The DIY package was eco-packaged, using minimal material and came with all items described. I added the toy chameleon. (Sorry, it doesn’t come with the package.)The setup was a cinch. Full length velcro strips secure the metal frame. A pleasant surprise was that all the raw edges were bound! That shows attention to detail. It is emblematic of quality and pride in workmanship. All materials are good quality. If taken care of properly, this seat will far outlast others that are more concerned with expediency than longevity. Photo #1 & 11 show the smooth heavy duty side eyelets that thread through the reinforced fabric!I opted to add pieces of “pool noodle” to the top edges of the elevated car seat because I know my dog will rest his head on that edge. The “noodle” was easy to cut with a sharp paring knife and I approximated the slit for the clips to slide through. Then I wrapped the interior lining over the “noodle” and secured it with the velcro. If you look closely, you can see the purple “noodle” peeking out from under the lining.My 12 lb. pomeranian mix loves his elevated basket. So does my 18 year old cat. I might add some eggshell foam padding to the floor of the basket for additional softness, but there is no need for it.There is room below the car seat for extra storage. I had no trouble with the straps around the headrest & easily adjusted it to the height I wanted. The strap went around a normal width backseat. The seat position is straight up or slightly tipped back. The safety strap adjusts so your pet has some movement. It attaches to a separately-purchased vest or harness the dog wears. Never attach the safety strap directly to your pet’s collar. I hope this product review has helped you in your decision.I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Pretty sturdy
We picked this up for our little Maltese, Oscar. Oscar is just under 12 lbs., and he fits in this little box just fine. Not too big for him, not too small either. Very easy to put together and install in the car, and it fastens very solidly, very little movement when secured.I’ve just one complaint, it would be nice if the was some padding around the top rim. Simple thin fabric over the metal frame doesn’t provide much footing for his front feet. Oscar likes to stand up and look out the window while in the car, and that thin metal frame just doesn’t provide a good foothold. Oscar manages it ok, but if he should slip, he could come down on that frame and I’m sure that wouldn’t feel very good on his chest or neck.The built-in harness connection works great, keeps Oscar from jumping out of the carrier and sitting in my lap (and that’s exactly what he wants to do) So, even if Oscar isn’t particularly thrilled being confined to a carrier, I’m very happy not having to reach under, around and over a dog to steer my vehicle. Safety first, right?I’d certainly recommend this carrier. It does what it’s advertised to do, just wish there was a little bit of padding around the top of the frame.

Excellent seat for a small pet
This is a high quality pet seat. I am shocked at how well this works for such a great price. The old lady on the left sits in the queen chair, which I spent a fortune for, and her sidekick uses this seat, which he loves and feels like just as great of quality as the fancy queen chair. He begs to hop in the car so he can settle in to the seat and go along for the ride. He has a tendency to get car sick, but not in this seat. It is nice and secure, doesn’t bounce around at all (which is surprising!), and it has just the right amount of height that he can see out of the window perfectly. I was also unsure if the blue stripes would be weird looking or too bold, but they look classy and cute. Zeek is a little guy at only about 7 pounds and I do put a blanket on the bottom of the seat so I can clean it easily after his paws get dirt all over it from our adventures. The strap used to secure him in the seat by attaching to his harness is adjustable and can be set to the perfect length so he has just enough room to move but not enough room to jump out if he’s feeling feisty.

Well made and easy to set up
My daughter bought this for her Papillon, and recommended it for our Pomeranian Coco, Coco loves the basket, she can see out the windows and can curl up inside and sleep. I was very easy to set up. So happy she is now secure while riding in the truck.
