Our dog loves this ball toy
We had a problem with the first ball received making a loud noise. I immediately heard back from the company & they replaced the ball right away. Communication was on point and the new ball seems to work as it should with a quiet sound and no crazy loud vibrating noises. My dog absolutely loves this toy and carries it around with her. She doesn’t get board with this toy like some others. She would play with this for hours if I let her. Ball is durable, she is an aggressive chewer and this ball withstands her biting down & carrying the ball around and even chewing on it on occasion. I love that it has 3 different play modes and I’m able to switch it up for my dog to play with and perfect for her mental stimulation. The battery seems to last a decent amount of time and I just recharge for a short time when needed. I wish it jumped a little more and came with a remote to change the settings & turn off/on but overall it’s a good deal, good ball toy for dogs/cats and I’d get it again.

Tough Toy, Tricky Controls
Tough Toy, Tricky ControlsI bought this for my dogs, Jovi and Ivy, because they’re way too smart for their own good and need constant stimulation. This ball is supposed to bounce, spin, move on its own, and even avoid furniture. It’s marketed as super durable, basically “indestructible,” and that part actually seems pretty accurate. My dogs are aggressive chewers, especially Ivy, and the outer shell feels very tough and well-made.Charging it was easy with the included USB-C cable. The indicator light lets you know when it’s ready, which I appreciated. You open the ball, remove the internal device, charge it, use the power button, then place it back inside and screw everything back together. The threading is smooth and perfectly aligned, and the design does a great job of hiding the seam so dogs can’t easily figure out where it opens — smart design. Here’s the honest part: the functionality has been inconsistent. Sometimes it works exactly as intended, moving and activating on its own. Other times, it just doesn’t respond at all. The weirdest part? Hours later, it’ll suddenly start up on its own and scare the life out of us from across the room. We’ve read the instructions multiple times and tried different settings, but it shouldn’t be this hard to use.Ivy didn’t mind at all — she happily grabbed it and tried to destroy it like her tiny, fluffy wrecking-ball self. But I wanted the interactive movement for mental stimulation, not just a fancy chew toy.Overall, the build quality is excellent and it feels very durable, but the controls and reliability need work. For something that’s supposed to be smart and interactive, it shouldn’t be this confusing or unpredictable.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ (3 out of 5 stars) – Great potential, tough construction, but inconsistent performance and tricky controls hold it back.

Don’t waste your money
Replaced the first one which broke within an hour. Concept is great and dog loved it but the replacement is now having issues. It makes an awful sound when it tries to move. Will be returning it for a refund.

Enjoyed by small hunting dog!
My dog is an aggressive chewer with teeth meant for dealing with rodents. This means any of the stuffed toys available only last minutes before being torn up. My dog seems to actually enjoy this most without being turned on. He will just chew on it and had not been able to tear the rubber off. When it’s turned on he will chase for a few minutes, but then for some reason the action changes to a loud annoying screech that annoys me, and scares my dog! Play time over. I do appreciate that it doesn’t use batteries and can be easily charged with the same charging cable I use for my cell.

Tough ball
This was a good buy. My blue Heeler is a chewer and very active and this is keeping him busy. I thought for sure he would destroy it day 1, but he has yet to get through that outside layer. Very impressed.

Stopped working after a few minutes of use
I was very excited about this toy because I have a super active and intelligent dog that needs a lot of stimulation. When I first unboxed this and turned it on it jerked (rather than bounced) around which frightened her.So my advice (should yours actually work – see below) is to let your dog get used to this in the off position first – let them sniff it, and maybe roll it around a bit (it does not bounce). Then once they are ok with it, put it on gentle mode first – building up to the so called ‘wild mode’ which is really just erratic jerking and a bit of rolling. For the record the new kitten who is not risk averse, was very interested in this.Unfortunately after trying this out for a couple of minutes with my animals (who watched it from a safe distance), it stopped working. I charged it until the light turned green, to little avail. It worked for a minute or two and then nothing. I picked it up unscrewed it, made sure the lights were on etc, screwed it back securely, and sometimes I got a tiny bit of activity for a minute or so and then nothing. I repeated this process three times before getting fed up. It now sits stationary in the corner of the room. It’s possible I received a dud. Unfortunately based on this experience I cannot recommend this product however if you want to take a chance you might get one that works and your dog may enjoy it. I’m back to throwing our tried and tested somewhat chewed up tennis balls.

I think mine is defective – sometimes works – only for a short time on low.
Great ball, fun concept. Simple directions. Great reviews from others about longevity on the 3 different levels. Mine – very persnickety. I can sometimes get it to stay on and work when ‘woken up’ for maybe 40 minutes or so, but only on the lowest speed. The two higher speeds cause the ball to gyrate when I’m still trying to set it – with nothing else happening once I put it together and put it down for the dog. Great potential, wonderful size and durability for our 75lb Siberian Husky. I would consider the steep price well worth it if mine worked like those of other reviewers.
