Bag holder not secure enough
Great leash, worked well and was exactly what I was after, but the bag holder isn’t very secure. Mine fell out somewhere on a walk so now I need to get a replacementUpdate: customer support is great and offered a refund. Time for a Walk
Best leash on the market. We have a medium sized dog, 30 lbs and she has broken most leashes, her from pulling, us from dropping. This leash is so much better as the waste bag holder is attached so it does not break off or fall off. The color is wonderful as the handle can be easily seen and found all over the house with its bright orange color. Even better the lead itself is bright orange and this is a fabulous safety feature as those around us can see the cable across the sidewalk and don’t trip or get tangled as they did with our black one. Love this leash.

We’ve used this leash for nearly a year of twice daily walks. Our 60# pitbull loves pulling to sniff, gets very excited about rabbits, and instant zoomies on wet grass… so she has nearly taken us on what I can only describe as “waterskiing on land behind a pitbull,” regularly. This leash is AMAZING. I honestly wouldn’t have been mad if it broke given how hard she can pull and how fast she can take off. It is holding up and I would HIGHLY recommend / will buy it again if it does ever quit working. The bag holder and reflective stripe is a nice perk too and I found that my fingers were getting crunched / injured using the more traditional loop handled leash and the formed handle means that even when our doggo zooms fast my fingers don’t bear the brunt of it.

REVISION –After leaving the review below, Mighty Paw contacted me and gave me a full refund. Although this leash clearly does not meet me needs, I highly recommend making purchases with Mighty Paw of products that match your needs. They are prompt and professional when addressing customer satisfaction issues.——‐——The Mighty Paw Retractable Leash for 0-50 lbs dogs does not meet expectations as advertised. The handle does not fit an adult human hand. It was a tight fit (woman medium hand). The leash band was strong but unnecessarily narrow. It looked and felt more appropriate for a stuffed animal and not a living, breathing 25 lbs French Bulldog. The quality is a flimsy plastic that will not hold up to daily wear/tear. Very disappointed. I must buy another leash.

Sprung Spring Retractor?
I’ve had one since 2022 w/ our 75# active and muscular dog. My only complaint is that it died yesterday. It went on full extension and never retracted despite numerous attempts to shake it, tap it, push the lock button on and off repeatedly, and spraying WD-40 into the leash hole when we managed to get home w/out tangling up on the 16ft of loose leash. Had to buy a temporary retractable leash for this morning’s walk and noted right off that the handle on my old Mighty Paw was much roomier, holding several knotted waste bags easily on the bottom part of the handle while still leaving room for my fingers. The temporary leash has a smaller handle despite being for large dogs, and my fingers were crowded. Great leash in every other aspect. Buying another now.

This is a very sturdy and functional leash. It locks and unlocks easily and I love the fact that I can easily attach a poop bag holder without hampering the grip I have of the leash. Longer walks for me and my dog thanks to this leash.

Werkt op zich goed, maar weegt relatief weinig. Het voelt ook veel minder robuust aan dan onze vergelijkbare andere intrekbare hondenriem die al jarenlang meegaat. Vooralsnog, omdat het verder prima werkt, krijgt het de voordeel van de twijfel, we zullen zien hoelang deze mee gaat.
