Entertaining
Such a fun and challenging puzzle. We love how you can make it easier or harder downing on how you place the bones. Very durable and my dog loves it!

Keeping senior busy
My 14 y.o. Dachshund mix loves it! Trying to incorporate more toys for keeping her brain working. She likes to paw at it as well as noes it. Very sturdy, east to clean. I only put try kibble or treats in it. It does not seem to hold onto smell. She has never broken a nail or hurt on nose on it so it seems soft enough, no hard edges. Great for dinner activity!

Good puzzle but not sturdy. Dog does enjoy it.
I have a 15 pound small dog with lots of energy. We have gotten many dog puzzles fromOutward hound (own at least 4 of them). The challenge slider: This one is less sturdy than the others. The second time my dog used it and she broke out the pieces and I had to put them all back in together. Not sure how it will hold up in the future. She’s done it now about four times and only broke out the pieces once. I will say my dog is not physically aggressive she did scratch at it to make the pieces move but I don’t feel that she is a very aggressive and her approach on these puzzles she’s not a chew her either. I will say that her nails weren’t groomed at the time so perhaps that led to her getting grip to be able to like rip them upwards and out. Overall I’ve been very happy with the outward hound puzzle products. I like how quick and easy this one was to load compared to some of the others. You can pull out the tray and fill all the treats at one time. Not sure I would buy again just because I have some questions on sturdiness. As far as engaging her, it definitely does the job.The brick:This one is a favorite and my dog has mastered it. She just did it 20 times. I will set the little door flops have separated several times and I’ve clicked them back in okay. Wondered if it will hold up in the future. But it was worth the money. The casino:This is another favorite. I find that I have to lock every other one still even after like 10 times. Or she gets too frustrated. I do like that option that I can slowly lock more and more of them I find if I like them all she just gives up after a while at this point. I would recommend. The twister:That’s why I’m struggling on how to teach my dog to twist the bones to get them to be recessed to get the drawers pulled out. She pulls the drawers out fine if I leave them in the unlocked position. Not sure how this one’s gonna end up working out. She loses interest because she can’t get the doors to open and I’m struggling again to teach her how to twist the bones around. It’s just not clicking. Would not buy again. The treat tumble small:I recommend this one. I do it when she kinda is driving me crazy and I’ll just put her food in it for the day and make her work a little for it.

Fun for dogs
My dog has so much fun with it. It has two activity levels, locked ot unlocked, for them to master. It is also easy to clean with soap and water or stick it in the dishwasher without heat.

Disappointed in quality
My dog loved it…and it was challenging…but it was not as sturdy as expected. Pieces got pushed under the green circle…orange circles are not tall enough…For an energetic 77 lb dog…this was not the quality I expected. I have bought other Outward Hound puzzles that were stronger plastic and sturdier…. I am disappointed with the quality of the purchase.

Great fun for my dog
I was a bit skeptical if a dog could really solve this but after a bit of frustration my Husky/Blue Heeler got all the treats out. She’s played with it a number of times now and always goes at it with enthusiasm. It’s obvious she thinks it’s fun and has gotten quite good at it.

Great for dogs who’ve puzzled before!
This one is pretty durable in comparison to the many others I’ve purchased. It’s a bit more difficult but my dog was able to figure it out on his own without assistance in time! This is a perfect puzzle for dogs that have already been introduced to easier versions.

Nice mental exercise, but…
I have 3 dogs in my house that I think encompass the range of play that this toy brings. The husky is a five-year-old dog who used this toy exactly like you expected. Once we showed him the sliding pieces and how the locks worked he fully enjoyed and worked the toy as intended.One-year-old Aussie pup who was not – I’m going to say compatible – with this toy. We did the same instructions as with the husky, but other than the ‘freebie’ he only opened one other. He ended up just sitting next to it and guarding it against the other dogs.We tried only locking every other lock. We tried unlocking every single one – he still didn’t ‘get’ it.The odd thing about this though, is we have harder mental toys than this one and he can complete those. A lot more slots with a lot more ‘must do x,y,z to get 1,2,3’ which I found interesting. The last is our 7-year-old Aussie. This one…this one we nicknamed Hulk because he just brute forces everything. He starts by scratching the top of the toy to force open everything. He then will take a white lock in his mouth and pick it up so it is hanging vertically. This is where he worked the system. If he dangles it right – where the teal pieces pull away from the frame – the treats just fall out and he eats his fill. The flaw of this toy is, locked or unlocked, if you tip it on its side right (or completely flip it over) the treats just tumble right out.Even with his hardcore scratching across the top – the plastic has held its shape. There are no tooth marks on the white locks. We had one of the white pieces get pulled out but was easy to install. I don’t know about the teal pieces if they pop off; although this company is pretty good at making it easy to reassemble if your pet is a destroyer.I do recommend this toy – if your dog isn’t one to pick it up and chuck it around. The older Aussie is not a ‘thrasher’ either so I can’t really use that as a precursor of compatibility. The pictures show the dog’s workaround and the variety of mental toys we have for our pack.

Our 5-month labrador is super Happy after he got to play with this. He was done quite fast but his behavior to play and how learned was impressive.

Got this when my pup was abt 7-8mths old. He figured it out quite fast and is still enjoying it one mth later. We put his lunch kibble in it so it’s more fun for him and he can’t gobble up his food too fast!

Świetna zabawka, choć dla mojego psa jest odrobinę za trudna. Plusem jest możliwość wyciągania elementów co pozwala zmniejszyć poziom trudności.
