    My older dog’s favorite toy
My older dog received this as a gift one year. He immediately loved it. He’s getting up in years but he chased this around the house like he was a puppy again.Every dog I’ve ever had enjoys squeaky toys but most of them don’t seem to last very long. The squeaker is often built into a thin plastic bladder that gets punctured very easily. I had a dog years ago that would eviscerate toys, pull out the squeaker, and destroy it within a few minutes of getting it. This toy lasted quite a bit longer (though my hyperactive younger dog eventually found it and destroyed it). When you throw this, it will bounce in random directions depending on how it hits the ground. This makes it exciting for the dog to chase because they can’t predict which way it will go.My dogs have already gone through 2 of these and I’ll probably get a third. If you have a dog that’s relatively gentle with toys (my little one is NOT) then this toy will last a good amount of time. If you have a really destructive dog like mine, you may want to skip this toy for something made of really durable rubber like a Kong.

Wonderful puzzle toy for ball-obsessed dogs
This toy has entertained my 1-year old golden for hours on end. As a retriever, he’s obsessed with balls so he desperately wants is to get the ball out of the cube. The first time playing with it, it took him quite some time to get either ball out. It drove him crazy, playing with it non-stop for hours. He almost gave up, but showing him that it was possible to get the balls out is what made it fun for him. (I’ve seen other toys that the ball can’t actually come out of, that I know he’d get bored of for that reason) Once he got the small ball out, I had to take it away because it could be dangerous for a larger dog, as he might easily swallow it – but I knew that when I bought it. Once he got the larger ball out, he did break it immediately, so the ball itself isn’t good quality. However, that seems to be common in dog tennis balls and still didn’t deter the fun, since I just put a real tennis ball back into it. The cube itself is what makes the toy so great. After a while, my dog started to figure it out more and more and could get the ball out quicker each time. But because I could put anything into the cube, I was able to make it more challenging each time. I moved on to a larger ball, then a tennis ball + a larger ball, then 2 larger balls, then a larger ball + any other toys I could get in there to obstruct the ball’s way out. I only wish I would have given it to him less often early on, so it would have been more challenging for longer, haha. Now, he can get the ball out within a few minutes no matter what I do, but he still loves the game each time. The cube has also gotten more flexible with use, so that might be a contributing factor. Overall, it’s been an amazing toy for him, and made him smarter, I swear. I just wish they made more of them in different levels of difficulty or something similar because I can’t find any other ball puzzle toy that would challenge him more! We’ve had it about a month and a half now. If this one breaks, I’ll buy another and I’ve already recommended it to friends. I don’t think I’ve ever written an Amazon review, but this toy has just been great for my playful guy. Despite the cheap balls it came with, this toy’s concept makes it a 10/10 for us!

Don’t leave unattended or it’s a waste of money!
Don’t make my mistake and leave your dogs alone with it. This was a great for 10 minutes toy. They had lots of fun getting the balls out and it did take them about 10 minutes which is impressive as usually they’d figure it out quick. However I left them alone for 15 minutes and my 18 month old dog chewed it apart. I’m very disappointed, I would have been able to use the balls we have for my 7 year old dog as a continuous toy. But it’s broken within 30 minutes of delivery. I have a 60 pound, 65 pound and 85 pound dog and it’s the perfect size for my 60 and 65 pound dog. It’s very soft and pliable plastic which I am positive is why it was so easy for him to chew. Colors were nice with the balls being neon and it being a blue see through plastic. The frame would clean well if it wasn’t broken.

    Very entertaining! Do recommend
I was very pleasantly surprised! The rubber is fairly tough for my chewer, and he has had minimal urge to even actively chew it – the balls inside make him want to get them out instead of chew it. This has given me hours of entertainment and watching him try to figure out how to get the balls out! It arrived just in time before we got snowed in tooIt took my pretty smart pup several hours before he figured out the balls actually come out of the cube, and then another day or 2 before he could consistently get them out in under 5 min. He’s a 50lb mid-size dog with a narrow face, and this toy is the perfect size. He grabs it and runs around the house to show you, it’s definitely his favorite so far! He can squeak the balls inside the cube while trying to get them out, see them, I highly recommend. He’ll even run around with just the cube after he pulls he balls out, definitely trying to start some tug of war but I doubt this rubber would stand up to very much of that – a little here and there has been fine though.Only complaint for me was that the tennis balls were not particularly durable, and the smaller one may pose a choking hazard when it gets out & chewed on. Once he was quickly pulling the balls out, the large squeaking one tore in half pretty quickly so I replaced it with a normal tennis ball (not nearly as exciting to him though so it’s mostly ignored and just in the way), and I’ve been trying to save the little squeaky one as much as I can.Grabbing the fluff on them is how he pulled the balls out (the little one can fly out the single hole side though if they shake it hard enough), and slowly the one side with parallel lines he kept pulling them out of started stretching – so I put a ribbon to tie it a little tighter and that did the trick. Now the other parallel side he’s been pulling out has also slightly stretched out, so I’ll likely be tying that together soon as well.

My dog loved the toy till he tore the rubber bits off and I had to confiscate the cube part. This took half a day. The balls inside are good toys as well though, so I did not rate so low.

Brinquedo muiiiiiito legal!

I had read that the balls this cube comes with are very cheap in a couple other reviews and prepared for that ahead of time. After she destroyed the original balls (day one) I replaced them with small kong tennis balls and it works all the same (hence my low rating on durability). The blue cube itself, however, is holding up well and hasn’t lost any elasticity! If your dog is a digging breed who gets bored easily – highly recommend (just buy better balls to stuff it with).Dog is a 20lbs beagle mutt and tears through toys easily.
