Just set it up today. I assembled it together. Very easy. I was technically challenged with setting up the WiFi. My tech smaht niece came over and hooked it up for me. The feeder is Brillant! I think my cat finds it amusing. Especially when the food pops out magically. I set it for 8am and 5pm. My mouth dropped open when I first saw the camera come up on my phone. My cat named Cat thanks you.

The functionality for this feeder is really good.I have had a few problems with the feeder getting clogged, but it was a simple fix.Overall, I consider this a good value for the money and recommend it to others.

Multiple cats, most definitely
I have three cats. One is a bruiser who would use the time between my other automatic feeders dispensing food to push other cats out to keep feeding. Even though they were all set to the same time, they would drift within days to where there could be two minutes between dispensing.These feeders get their time via wifi, so they all dispense at the same time.Huge improvement

This was a pretty big upgrade from my old cat feeder. I like how it has a little camera (albeit not great quality but that’s okay) where i can watch my cat eat. The app was easy to install and connect to the wifi (note, be aware it won’t connect to 5G wifi-has to be 2.5). Once set up it works great and is easily programmable. I had no issues with the design or with it spilling while using. Definitely seems worth the money so far.The only issue i had was that the QR codes provided with the instructions went to a broken link so it took some searching to actually find the app.

I’ve gone through more pet feeders than I care to admit—at this point, my pets are eating more high-tech meals than I am—but this is my first feeder with a built-in camera. Naturally, I was thrilled, because who doesn’t want to spy on their cat at 2 a.m. to confirm they’re plotting your downfall?Straight out of the box, the feeder feels a little basic, like it skipped leg day, but wow—functionally it does everything short of filing your taxes. Assembly took about five minutes, which is less time than it takes my dog to realize I’m not actually getting him a second breakfast. The app setup was shockingly smooth—like it was designed by someone who has personally experienced tech-induced rage.The app is where this thing really flexes. You can schedule up to 12 portions a day (perfect if your pet believes mealtime is a lifestyle), watch a live video feed so you can judge your pet’s life choices in real time, yell encouragement or threats through the two-way audio, and even take screenshots—ideal for capturing incriminating evidence of counter surfing. The camera is decent during the day, but fair warning: it does not have night vision. After dark, the video looks like paranormal footage from a ghost-hunting show, starring your cat as “Shadow Demon #3.”When dispensing food, it’s very quiet—so quiet that your pet may not even notice. Depending on the animal, this is either peaceful or a guaranteed complaint letter addressed to management (you).Unexpected perk: the hopper from my other feeders fits this one perfectly, making cleaning easier and saving me from my usual 45-minute feeder-scrubbing existential crisis. Huge win.For the same price as my older, dumber feeders, this one gives me extra peace of mind and lets me maintain a healthy level of pet surveillance. I can now leave home knowing I can check in, talk to them, and continue feeding their egos—and their stomachs—from anywhere.

This is a great feeder!Ive seen these here and there and with an adult cat who free feeds beautifully, ive never really thought I, or rather she, would benefit from it. Not only is it a great way to make sure you pet is actually eating, bring able to adjust meal times, portion sizes and the camera to watch the general goings on in the house.My biggest question mark was the meals vs portions and how that all works together, so ill explain it here incase anyone else was confused like me. Meals are the times of day your dispenser will dish food out, portion is the size of the meals itself. You can schedule as many meals as you need, and you can choose different portions for each, or dump a portion into the bowl immediately. The smallest portion (based on the kibble is use, TikiCat, which is very small! Larger kibble might measure out differently, as the portions are by weight and not by volume but I know most people measure my volume) is just under an 1/8th of a cup, and the largest portion is just over a cup and a half!The app can be a bit laggy, but that may also be my very slow internet. I like that you can customize notifications, it records when your meals are dispensed and you can set up motion detection to know when your pet comes around. There isnt anything in the way of noise detection, so if your cat is meowing it wont let you know (or at least, I cant figure out how to set it up. You can listen in though!) But you can definitely talk to them through the device :)Im very excited to use this with my foster kittens! I bottle feed orphan and being able to see what thsy are up to and give them more food if I have to step out is really nice. This dishes out more than enough food for even a large dog, the hopper certainly would need to be refilled frequently but if you have a special needs pet on a controlled diet due to weight or diabetes, this really helps keep everything in the house running smoothly. There are a lot of great details, like having a strap to secure the hopper lid, the camera can be adjusted to see more or less of the room, you can record from the app pictures and videos, the dish is stainless steal and easily taken out of the tray to wash, its just a really nice peice of tech! I suspect this might also come in handy for my feral cats colonies, when there are new cats who need to be TNR’ed or kittens show up, its nice for them to know whos coming by and when so I can capture them in the least stressful way possible.

Very happy with this! We had a previous autofeeder which had similar functionality overall, but lacked the camera function. When we were away, we’d set up a separate camera to check in on our cat and ensure feedings were going smoothly, but having it all built in to one unit is a big upgrade.The feeder is sturdy and feels well made. It’s primarily plastic, but doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. It looks quite sleek and modern and although it’s a fairly good size, I don’t mind it aesthetically in my kitchen. Notably, while it’s mostly plastic, the bowl portion itself is stainless steel, so if your cat is sensitive to plastic they should be okay using this.The initial set up does take some time. In addition to putting it physically together, you also need to install the app on your phone and set up various connections (wi-fi, etc), as well as inputting the settings you want for the feeder. Once this is done though, it’s basically a “set it and forget it” type of deal. The initial work of setting it up saves you lots of time down the line by ensuring that your cat is fed pre-portioned amounts at the intervals you’ve decided on.I appreciate that it has dual power, aka it has both a plug in and battery backup, so if you lose power while you’re away from home, it will continue to work.It apparently also has two-way voice options, but I think that would freak my cat out so I haven’t tried it, haha.Overall, this is a great device for cats who like to eat at obscenely early hours (mine), or the pets of people who are out of the house often or who travel.

This is a smart, efficient feeder! I ordered it for my son’s cats as he and his wife work extremely long days and are always panicked in getting home on time to feed their babies. This does take a bit of “work” to set up as you have to install an app which didn’t work from the QR code. I don’t love the camera feature but that’s from an internet security perspective. The feeder handles the dry food quite well, even food that is irregular in shape. My set was missing the humidity control package. The 6L capacity is perfect for my son’s 2 cats, as it enables them to feed both and it lasts through the weekend. i I love that it can be powered by battery or plugged in. Overall, a really great way to ensure your furbabies are fed when life gets in the way.

4.5*This is a big upgrade from previous cat feeder, and perfect for people who work longer hours or just away from home during the day. The set up was easy and the app is amazing with how you can personalize and set up feeding schedules. The camera is where this thing is amazing compared to regular automatic feeders. The two way audio allows you to not only hear what’s going on, but also allows you to talk to your cat as well. The video during the day is okay, but I took half a star away because the night camera is it’s biggest downfall. This does not have night vision or anything of the sort, so the camera is really lacking at night. It’s super quiet though when it does dispense food, so overall, this camera/feeder is a game changer for those wanting to set up schedules and check in during the day!

When I set this feeder up for my cat, the first thing I did was play around with the little 480P camera. It only adjusts manually, but being able to tilt it up or down is enough for me to check whether she actually finished her food or if she’s just pretending she did. I use it mostly to peek in on her during the day and grab quick clips when she decides to be cute while I’m not home.The app has been the main thing I rely on. I like that I can schedule her meals and also send out an extra portion if she gives me that “I’m starving” look through the camera. I stick to WiFi most of the time, but the Bluetooth setup helped when I first got it going. Seeing the feeding history is handy too, especially when I want to make sure she isn’t tricking different people into feeding her twice.Knowing it can switch over to batteries if the power goes out is a relief. I’ve had that happen before, and the idea of her waiting around confused and hungry stresses me out, so having a backup makes me feel a lot better.I didn’t expect to use the two-way audio much, but I do find myself saying a quick hello when I check the camera. I also recorded a short message she hears at mealtime—nothing fancy, just something familiar so she knows it’s hers.Cleaning everything has been pretty painless. The stainless steel bowl goes straight into the dishwasher, and the container is easy to rinse out. It keeps things from getting grimy, which I appreciate because I hate dealing with stale food smells.Overall, it’s made things smoother at home, and I feel like I’m still part of her day even when I’m not there.
