This is a great product at a great price! I can even access this device from overseas which is incredible! Set up is simple and you can take pictures from the device. I love how you can move the device to see around the room and it transitions into night vision automatically! Love this device!

Awesome treat machine—frustrating, mostly useless camera
This review is for the following item:SKYMEE Petalk AI II Dog Camera Automatic Treat Dispenser, 5G WiFi Pet Camera with 180° Pan Full-Room View.It cost $89.99 when I ordered it.For setup, skip the instructions in the box entirely and go straight to the instructions in the product description of the item listing. I’m an IT professional and was nearly at my breaking point trying to get it working using the instructions included in the box. Once I found the instructions in the item listing, setup took just a couple minutes.The app is fine. Nothing fancy, but it’s stable and makes it easy to dispense treats and view the camera feed. Video recording is sometimes disappointing though. When you tap the button to record video in the app, the video that saves to your camera roll is sometimes laggy and pixelated; it starts and stops and there will be 5 watchable seconds out of 30. Other times the video is completely fine.When you dispense treats, the device makes a bark sound, but you can’t adjust the volume of the bark. If the dogs are nearby, they hear it and come running. But if they’re in another room—even with an open layout—they usually don’t hear it. I hoped this device could help redirect them when deliveries or guests arrive, but the bark isn’t loud enough to break through if the dogs are already excited about something else. I also have a senior dog who just cannot hear the bark at all regardless of distance from the device, so he doesn’t know there’s treats to be had until the younger two go running for them.We use this as a treat dispenser and for that it works great. It lives on a high shelf where the dogs can’t knock it over. Unfortunately, the camera can only pan side to side—not tilt up and down—so if the dogs are already in front of the treat dispenser, you can’t see them at all. If they’re in the room and not in front of the camera, you can watch them run up to it when they hear the device bark, but then they disappear from the frame in front of/below the camera where they’re picking up the treats. I propped the device to tilt the camera downward, and that helped visibility, but doing so causes treats to drop out of the hopper into the chute and it also prevents the pan function. It is so silly that the camera doesn’t tilt. It doesn’t need to pan and it can, it needs to tilt and can’t…The rest of the design is decent. The treat hopper is generously sized, so I don’t need to refill often. It comes with two dispensing plates—one for small treats, one for larger—which is a thoughtful inclusion. The device has a wireless charger on top, but we don’t use it since we don’t have it in a spot where that would be convenient.If you’re just looking for a treat dispenser and don’t care much about camera functionality, this device might work for you. But if the camera is important, the lack of tilt makes this device difficult to recommend.For what this device offers and delivers, the price is high. You can get other treat dispenser/camera combos that can tilt for far less money.

This is a review of the Skymee Petalk AI II. I downloaded the skymee app. It asks for email/cell phone # for user ID, then you set up a password. It also asks for your name. It made me uncomfortable giving all the info to a company based in China. I set my Android phone to 2.4Ghz. After hours of following limited instructions, I gave up. I did email the manufacturer. I cannot access the camera, microphone or dispense food. However, I left it plugged in and filled it with food after hearing it attempt to dispense food/treats. It has a slow blinking green light and dispenses food every 4-6 hours. One of my 3 dogs loves that, the 2nd eats the kibble, and the 3rd is getting used to the sound. I mention the sound because the dog most frightened by the sound isn’t afraid of fireworks, guns, thunder and etc. He also isn’t afraid of other brands of treat dispensers. This Petalk machine dispenses multiple treats, multiple times in a sequence, appropriately 4-5 times. It may be the fast repetition that boths him. The red light comes on when empty. It ejects approximately 1/2 cup of kibble (all it holds) in 24 hr. I really needed this to work. The box info indicates it should work. If I get access to the features, I will update this review.

Keeping tabs on my furbaby
I love the Skymee treat dispenser and camera. It is a high quality product that is easy to use and a great way to keep tabs on your furbaby when you are not home. I love being able to give my sweet furbaby a treat, even when I’m not home. I highly recommend Skymee to all the pet owners who have to leave their furbabies home alone from time to time.

Love this item!
I had the older version pet camera. I like the Pet Talk AI version much better. It has a much more streamlined design that goes better with my decor. I like that the camera swivels and I can swivel it from the app to see more of the room. It was very easy to set up the app and is very easy to use. I love that I can check on and talk to my pet when I am out. It even has a pad to charge my phone eliminating the need for me to have chargers and cords laying around. My pet recognizes the bark and loves getting treats from it when I am not home. Basically, I love my Skymee Pet Talk AI!!!
