Awesome for super chewers!
My dogs adore these so much – I started with one and had to buy a second one! Both my dogs are super chewers. Even the toughest rated toys are destroyed within a day. I was hesitant to buy this one, but it’s still going after several months! The treat rings are fun, but even when they are gone, my 50lb husky/terrier mutt will carry the toy around and gnaw on it to her heart’s content. She likes to toss it up in the air and down the stairs, and it makes a big noise on the hardwood floors, which amuses her. My 80lb cattle dog mix enjoys the toy more with the treat on it, but he will chew it alone as well. Best dog toys I’ve purchased!

Dogs didnt like it
**Update** Its been a year and I am actually going to purchase a second set of this toy. I get the large for my pitbull (80lbs SUPER chewer) and the small for my two chorkies (12lb. and 18lbs). It took them a bit to warm up to the toy but they finally played with it and LOVE it now! It’s important to get the size that is appropriate for your dog. I have noticed some folks got the small toy when the medium or large would have been better. My big dog got a hold of one of the smaller toy and did a bit of chomping on it. I keep my eye on her now! So, I am getting a second set because after a year the hard plastic ends have gotten a bit beat up and have some sharp edges from teeth marks. I have the treat rings on autoship because they love to chew on the toy while we eat out dinner. Keeps them from begging at the table!!**********I was bummed that my dogs didn’t like this toy. Its very sturdy and I have a serious chewer but she only played with it for a few minutes. Its possible that is just too hard and doesn’t give her the crunch she wants. My other two little dogs had a hard time getting to the treat rings so they don’t play with it either.

Great For Fun And Teeth
I have now ordered 3 of these because my little Shih Tzu chews on them until there are sharp edges. He chewed the end of one until it was like a knife blade! He knows where I keep the rawhide rings and barks up at the drawer. Of course I have to say no sometimes because I won’t give him rawhide every day. But this is a lot of fun for him and the green rubber, nubby rings are good for his teeth. I have to provide him with things like this because he absolutely will not let me brush his teeth. I’ve bought other Petsafe toys as well and they’re all good. I highly recommend their products.

Depends on your dog, but good product!
Personally, I think there are a lot of dog toys on the market which should only be given to the dog with a certain amount of supervision. This is a great toy for about 20 minutes with our dog before he gets the rawhide ring out and begins chewing up the toy. When that happens, we trade a mini Milkbone for the toy and put it away.Anyone owning a dog should be aware that not all dogs chew the same way. Some of it is natural habit, and some of it has to do with how their mouth and teeth are configured. Our present dog is about 98% Beagle. Some things, including “indestructable” Kong toys get chewed up quickly. A Kong “tennis ball” gets ripped apart in short order, but cheap Penn brand actual tennis balls last forever. It’s good to share your personal experience with this product, but just because YOUR dog immediately destroys a certain toy doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad product. It just means that that product isn’t right for your dog. You have to try products out and see if they are a good match for your particular dog.

Treats come off too easily.
Toy seems durable enough. My pup isn’t interested in it much without the treats. I ordered a medium for my 20lb Boston and it’s mostly a good size (he really needs a size in the middle of the small and medium!)What I didn’t expect was for him to have both treats pulled off in a couple minutes. They were added under the “more complicated” alignment, but even with his little smush face he was able to pull them off quickly. I didn’t anticipate the treats being quite so soft, which results in just enough give for them to be ripped off.

Tough chewer approved
Libby loves it! She is a 50 pound Pitbull and an aggressive chewer. When I opened the box and saw it, I was concerned that it was too small and I got the wrong size. It is difficult to judge even with the item description and photos. However it seems to be just right. At least she thinks so, and that is what matters. Bigger is not always better. At first I would give it to her for 15 minutes a day to break it in. I do this because the plastic gets sharp and cuts her gums if she spends to much time with it. After a week or so, we leave it out and she will casually chew a few times throughout the day. That’s what I wanted. A toy that she can still get excited about if you play with her, and at the same time be safe enough to leave out to help with boredom. I have also let her have it outside but it is hard to get the dirt off since the plastic is now roughed up. As for the rawhide disk, I don’t use them. They give her gas, she gets them off in about 2 minutes(I timed it), and they are not worth the cost. Oh, and the shape is one of the biggest reasons I got this one. Creates somewhat of a challenge.UPDATE: After a year and a couple months I have to retire the toy. Although she is a powerful chewer she was generally gentle on this one. Her chew sessions last an average 10 minutes two to three times a day. I still recommend it and plan on getting a new one.

Love it!
I don’t know what it is about this toy, but she has been at it almost non-stop since I let her open her present. She loves this thing!

It looked to be a stubstantial, robust dog toy/chew that would last.My lab bit it in half in minutes!…….outrageous price for what it is!

They are either to stupid to figure out how to get at the rawhide rings or they don’t care for them but they just like laying there and knawing at this toy. They both share it and it’s the toy of choice. We haven’t noticed chars of the plastic come off and we leave it as an outside toy as it’s very hard and loud when they drop it on the floor. But it’s definitely a toy they are super interested in and keep going back to daily.

I have a year old lab who loves to chew . He has destroyed more toys . We like this one because when we give him a treat it takes him a while before he can get all of it . We only put one treat on each side . He is forever greatful . ❤️ 👍
