Emotionally Flammable –
Cool Hardware Hampered by Iffy Software
I honestly think this little robot is really cool. As a piece of hardware, it does exactly what it advertises. The treat dispenser works reliably, the laser feature is a fun addition, and the camera quality is decent for what it is. I was particularly impressed by its mobility; it navigates my home well and finds its way back to the charging dock without issues. I already have a robot vacuum, so my floors are prepped for this kind of device, and my pets are desensitized to moving robots, meaning they weren’t scared of it at all.However, the experience is let down significantly by the app. It feels incomplete and lacks the polish you would expect at this price point. For example, during setup, the Wi-Fi selection screen cut off the end of the network names. Since I live in an apartment building where all the network names start the same and end differently, I literally had to guess which one was mine. Thankfully, I guessed right, but that is a major oversight in user interface design.You can tell the app was not designed by native English speakers, as the language can be clunky and the navigation is not always smooth. If you are intuitive with tech, you can figure it out, but for a device that costs nearly $200, the software experience should be much more flushed out and professional.If you can overlook the lackluster app, the device itself is a lot of fun and functions very well physically. But be prepared for some frustration during the setup and learning curve on the software side.

Good way to keep an eye on your pets
This is such a neat item and great addition to our household. The set-up didn’t take too long and the instructions were easy to understand and follow. Love that its a moving robot with a camera so that we can navigate around the house to find our kitties. We have other cameras set up to watch the pets but its in one area and doesn’t move around. The camera quality is quite good. The app is easy to navigate. I like the laser option. The snack dispensing part is probably the dog’s favorite feature. She follows it around a paws at it. Overall, great item & definitely recommend.

Good quality but software can be improved
This pet camera robot is a fun and useful device, especially for checking in on pets while away from home. The video quality is clear, the night vision works well, and the two way audio is helpful for interacting with pets in real time. The treat dispenser and laser toy are great features and definitely keep pets engaged.The motion detection and app control add a lot of functionality, and the robot movement makes it more interactive than a standard pet camera. Once everything is set up, it works reliably and does what it promises.The reason for four stars instead of five is that the software and app can be a bit tricky to navigate at first, and some features require a subscription, which may not appeal to everyone. Overall, it’s a solid, feature rich pet camera with lots of value, especially if you don’t mind a small learning curve.
