Lower phosphorous
I have a girariatric cat that has high BP, arthritis, strong IBD symptoms towards chicken protein, and stage 1 kidney disease, tough little guy with a strong spirit still wants to persist despite all of that.He refuses to eat the actual prescribed renal support food and can’t eat the other more renal based foods because the chicken causes too much damage to his intestinal system. So after talking with the vet and searching the net for options I found some lists and websites through Reddit boards on phosphorous content in all the foods. This one was surprisingly better than I thought it would be and is more affordable being I have 2 other older cats and the 3 of them combined are very food aggressive and jealous of each other, so they are all on it. With guidance from my vet I put a phos binder powder in the food as well. (He also gets supplements to balance not eating the strictly renal food).So yea, this food is a surprising lower phosphorous option (187mg phos/100kcal) and all the cats like it, it’s more affordable so I can pay for his exorbitant vet bills, the vet is ok with it when combining phos binder powder and supplements.

My cats love this. Its nice and meaty and has nice size bites for them. I buy it by the case which makes it easy for me instead of getting from the grocery store and dragging it home.

Great for indoor cats
Cats love the texture and gravy. Refrigerate any extra, we have 2 cats and they’ll eat 1/2 a can in the morning and the other 1/2 in the evening. Both cats have missing teeth and are indoor cats so food is perfect for them, they prefer this to purée food

Many years ago my wonderful vet suggested I avoid fish flavored wet cat food. Voila…turkey flavor! I bought 2 cases of this turkey flavored food, plus a few others in case my cat needs something different. I’ve fed him one of the cases and that hasn’t happened yet. I mix a spoonful of this food, along with a quarter cup of dry food twice a day, and his weight has remained steady, and I’ve avoided feeding him fish flavored foods. We’re both very happy with this product!!
