Very Nice
I like this companies products. This collar is rugged, durable, with touches aimed at comfort, and thoughtful features that make it a winner for me. I like the little soft tag so if you have multiple tags, the don’t clink as much. I like the metal ring for the dog leash; it feels quality and it has a nice design that I like. Color is great, and nylon material seems heavy duty. I also like that it is a clamp style release collar. It is easy to put on and take off, which is convenient because ours comes off inside. Dog doesn’t seem to mind, so that’s probably worth five stars.

Durable collar with dog tag silencer and easy leash attachment
I already had purchased a harness, collar, leash and life vest for my small pup and really am impressed with the durability and solid craftsmanship. Most importantly, the fit is spot on. I previously had been using another brand sold at Petsmart, Kong, and found that the fit was not quite right and the apparel seemed uncomfortable to my dog. What really changed my mind from using Kong to Ruffwear was in the life vest. I love to kayak and taking my furry friend is a must. The Kong vest had zero support under the belly whereas the Ruffwear has support from the back, down the sides (and most importantly for the stability of my pup) underneath the belly.Ruffwear has great features on the harnesses where the dog ID tag is attached and can be hidden in a well marked compartment at the neck. The collars have a wonderful design where a soft rubber silencer hangs between the dog ID tag and rabies tag so there is not any noise from the collar on walks. My favorite is the knot-a-leash because when I need a shorter leash I have only to tie the leash in the middle to make it shorter. There is an attachment on the handle for a doggie poop bag dispenser.As a Ruffwear consumer for the past 3 years – I am incredibly happy with their line of products and am now a customer for life. I have 2 more dogs (bigger) and just purchased this for them. Again, can’t stress the fit is spot on and makes my walks with my 3 pups super smooth. Thank you Ruffwear!

2 year update… I do still love this collar but sadly the tag holder broke off. Fortunately I was able to find the tags at the park the day after it happened but it’s a bit of a downer. I think ideally a sold metal loop for tags would be better. That said the main buckle and attachment point are excellent and I will keep using it… just need to attach the tags to the leash attachment point which is what I don’t want to do.I reluctantly bought this collar to use after the much more stylish and expensive rolled leather collar I had been using gave me scare when the leash attachment point failed….so style had to yield to practicality for my dogs safety until I train away his reactivity. (Yes I know it’s ridiculous that I should care that much about style, but he’s a poodle….and likes nice things.) I love that the leash attachment is separate from the tag holder. It keeps the leash buckle from ever damaging the tags. Also I love the plastic quick fastener. It buckles super easy and seems indestructible.

My favourite everyday collar for my pup. Love that the tags are sepeeate from fhe leash clip and comes with a silencer.Soft and it’s a perfect size range if you have a pup that may grow. Love Ruffwear for my pup and plan to get some things in more colors!
