Probiotics for the Win
I’ve been using Rx Biotic for my dog, Pepper, and the improvement in her gut health has been remarkable. This supplement has helped keep her regular, reducing the frequency of digestive issues she used to experience. I appreciate that it’s hypoallergenic and vegetarian, making it a safe choice for her dietary needs. In addition to Rx Biotic, I also use their clay powder, which has been beneficial for her overall health. However, I purchase the clay powder from Chewy, as I haven’t found it on Amazon at a comparable price.Overall, I’m a big fan of Rx Vitamins products and will continue to use them to support Pepper’s health.

Great supplement
My cat gets this supplement every night in his food. It’s easy to mix in and the cat always finishes his food before the night is over. He’s been on this for years and has had no issues with this at all.

Works great for stabilizing dogs’ poop
I give this to my dog daily sprinkled on her breakfast. This has stabilized her poop for the last 3 years. She rarely has a bad, soft, poop.

Not as advertised
This product said that it was very flavorful and dogs really like it or something to that effect how the taste was not going to mess with the food it was put in, but I would say that’s not true at all. My dog refuses to eat her food and she’s a hound and loves to eat if I sprinkle and mix this in even in smaller doses, that is recommended she just refuses to eat her expensive food and so it’s a real waste of money on both ends. You waste the price you paid for the canned food which my food is five dollars a can and the cost of the probiotic.

Helps with dogs skin (yeast-based) allergies
I have a 7yr old Doberman with grass and other environmental allergies, possibly food allergies (eliminated chicken from her diet). Always had an itchy belly, especially when pollen count was high. For the past 3 years, I have been taking her to an allergy specialist and she gets injections + pills (Atopica). This year the allergy doc tested her skin and it came back positive for bacteria and yeast, so I knew that a probiotic could probably help this. I started her on this probiotic a few months ago and it really seemed to calm her allergies, even through the fall high pollen season. Still itchy, but recovers faster and no longer itches to the point of open sores/scabbing. I don’t like giving her Atopica bc I hate big pharma; I was able to pretty much stop giving her Atopica and got better results with just the injections + probiotics. Who knows, as the good bacteria increases in her gut, maybe I can cut out the injections too. Had a little sticker shock with the price at first, but the results are amazing, it seems to last a long time and I now have no problem with the price, it is a good deal. The container is very small, but lasts a long time and that is with giving her 2 scoops mixed with food once every day. Initially I gave her 2 scoops in the morning, and 2 scoops again in the evening for several weeks, then went to maintenance dose.I also give her Vitamin E, fish oil, a doggie multivitamin daily and I use Douxo Chlorhexidine PS Shampoo (available for purchase on Amazon). After she plays outside, I wipe her belly down with cow udder wipes (I get these from her allergy doc, but maybe could purchase from a farm supply store?).
