Great food
Owner of 2 chihuahua mixes. One of them is very picky however he never skips out on a meal form honest kitchen. I love the whole clean ingredients they use. The bite size kibble makes it super easy for my dogs to eat. They have solid poop and a healthy coat. Bag smell is very fresh however there tends to be an accumulation of crumbs at the bottom of the bag.

my dog loves it
I rescued my 7ish mo old puppy & she was getting really bad quality food at her foster home. I mixed her old food with this one to transition her but she started picking out only this food, and leaving/rejecting her previous food ! This is also great to use in puzzle toys and as training aid in place of treats.

Great quality kibble!
I have one dog who tends to be more sensitive to food and another who is a picky eater. In the past we have tried different Kirkland kibble, Stella & Chewy, and Blue Buffalo. I did a lot of research on different kibbles and decided The Honest Kitchen is the winner. Both of my dogs love the food and transitioned well. My picky eater doesn’t get tired of the food after a couple weeks, and my other dog hasn’t gotten dandruff.I like the ingredients compared to other kibble and that there is an option for small breeds although my pups didn’t have an issue with the larger size. I even took a bite of the kibble just to see out of curiosity, and it tasted like a cracker that had been dipped in beef broth and dried out. I am not recommending tasting your dog’s kibble, but I was curious…The bag of small breed did have more powder in it compared to the standard size I purchased at a local store, but I am unsure if that’s due to the different kibble sizes or something else. I wouldn’t expect zero powder and wouldn’t make this a reason for not purchasing again off Amazon. The price is more expensive, but I feel as if these days you get what you pay for. The price point doesn’t bother me because I use this kibble as a base and appreciate the quality.

Chicken-free kibble!
Great chicken-free kibble! My pup became allergic to chicken at 12-year-old so I started searching for a new food for her. I never realized how hard finding chicken-free food would be but finally found this one. She seems to enjoy it as a supplement to her wet food and it is easy on her tummy.

Makes great training treats; great weight gainer food
I’ve used Honest Kitchen dehydrated foods for around a decade now – they’re great for travel, adding a bit of variety to food-stuffed toys, or hiding medications – and I’m comfortable enough with the company to have tried these grain free clusters despite them being very carb heavy. My dogs are raw fed and generally don’t get much in the way of carbs except the very small amount they get once or twice a week in the Honest Kitchen base mix. I don’t feed them this food as their diet, but I do use it as training treats. My dogs range in size from 15 to 130 pounds, and they all go wild for this not-kibble, but it is never more than 10% of their daily calories.I’ve purchased the small 1 and 3 pound bags of the large clusters in local pet stores, but this is the same formula just in smaller pieces and a larger bag size. When it went on sale for $45/bag, I bought two bags because my dogs love these “treats” so much.Obviously, having 20 pounds of “treats”It sitting around meant my dogs were getting way more of these treats than other treats, and these clusters definitely did pack some weight on all of my dogs over the course of about ten days, especially my two seniors (who are both still very active.) This would be mostly fine, except that I didn’t add any extra calories to their daily intake and their breath is horrid when it’s normally just unscented hot air like a typical raw fed dog. They also all started eating loads of grass every time we go outside, stool is much softer, and coats dry and gross feeling.I stopped using these as their main treats and went back to dehydrated single protein treats, and their breath, stool, and coats are returning to normal. They do get a few of these treats in their busy boxes or as random rewards while we work on training, but the second unopened bag I bought went to the shelter with me to be added to the enrichment program there. Not a terribly bad food, and great if you’re looking to put weight on a thinner dog, but you just might be disappointed in this particular product if your dogs are raw fed. Three stars because the ingredients list isn’t garbage and my dogs absolutely love these little morsels, but they are a bit pricey and made all of my dogs into smelly beasts.
