Essential cat tree for cat owners
Very easy to assemble, sturdy, and my cats love it. I had to replace the old one which my cats put to great use as a scratching post. They enjoy sitting on top in the hammock. Great for small places. Great price. This is something I will continue to buy every time it needs to be replaced because of use.

We have three cats. Ordering third piece if this kitty furniture now..
We purchased one of these bc I don’t like window sill loungers; but I wanted kitties to have access to kitty TV. This multi activity lounger is the perfect height to be used as a lounger for Kitty TV or a nice cat nap in the sunlight.Noticed 2 kitties I think I’ve thrown away … Well … A lot of $ on beds, blankets etc etc. switching out to enjoy this new lounger – to watch kitty tv; and we’ve seen two in same lounger several times. It appears as though they like this piece of their furniture 🙂 . They take turns with their toys and other belongings. No clothes. They aren’t meant to olat stress up with. Cats are quite picky about their appearance. I find that heartwarming, then heartbreaking. People should be so generous.I’m now ordering the third lounger.I can’t lift heavy objects. These are lightweight, but sturdy. They’re easy to move; which is a nice feature bc our kitties enjoy being near, next to, or on lap. Also, kitties like a variety of channels on their TV’s, too! 🙂 ha!Actually, as day passes, they like lying in the sunlight. So we move their loungers for them to lie wherever sun shines into house.I once was a volunteer for an animal shelter near Jackson , MS I’d been volunteering enuf to know my way around. When I found out I was pregnant, I didn’t attend as much time with the animals as I would have liked. I’d been there long enough. My “thing” is fiance: banking then brokerage then children and back to bank.Because of my background with banking, accounting, budgets, I was asked to go to office behind shelter – I noticed there was a lot of those large black bags for ysrdwirk. Thought little if it. -‘ clean up of the yards behind the buildings. Probably full of parts of large limb that was a widow maker. A regular at this place cane to check in me just as I was locking up to leave. When we reached backdoor of main building, I asked where the three baby triplets – grow tabby – were. They had euthanized them. The black bags: One day, and barely half way thru day, they’d filled those bags/ 6’ tall pile, minimum. Hearing about the “trash” sickened me. Why did they euthanize my baby triplets? I’d decided to adopt. Was in office less than a hour and they’d euthanized my kittens. Why? They had conjunctivitis. It’s a no big deal thing, but it’s highly contagious. All they needed were drops. They said shelter was kill shelter when diseased animal is left. I’d bought the medication before. It’s not that expenseive. I moved before having opportunity to find sponsors or set up an event for. Charity. I didn’t return bc pregnancy became dangerous. I told then I would have purchased a case of the medication for the shelter – and asked why they didn’t tell me. They knew I wanted the kittens. This kitty furniture looks very nice, they fit in like an accent table. The place they stay most is beside furniture bc they have scratchers and double window 15? Ft away. They play with the dangle toy, sleep on bottom “bunk,”, and scratcher keeps them.from feeling need to scratch furniture. These are, without a doubt, the favorite piece of furniture for the 3 kitties and us humans. If reading, u r probably a pet guardian. I’d like to share some info bc of common interests. Our cat family: We kept the stray, young, pregnant Mom and two of the kittens from her five litter pregnancy. Daughter took three kittens. They b are all homed. They were lucky.Trip earned her name. She has to know where every body is and what they’re doing – her kittens and us. She believes she’s the matriarch of our home; probably bc I’m.sick. You walk, she’s going with you – always walking between our steps / feet. So, she trips us – a lot :-)Pls spay and neuter! Foster and / or adopt! Pledge monthly donation to save homeless pets, buy meds, food for the animals. One thought: Use the amount you’d spend on coffee in one day to donate. Save til.end of month, send check. Or drop of cash and get your receipt. Her abilities aren’t where they should be. My guess: Incest.Hoping to convince neighbor to neuter Mr. Goldy once I’m up and about again. I feel that reminding pet guardians to spay and neuter can’t be overdone. I hope you will leave this in my comment about this great product.

Repurchased as my cat loves it.
This is the second one that I’ve bought. One of my cats spends most of his time sleeping on it. My other cat uses the scratching posts but won’t get on it (he’s a nervous boy!). It is very stable, supporting my 13 pound cat jumping on and off of it and is very easy to assemble out of the box. I had to buy a new one when his first one became threadbare from him making biscuits while relaxing.

My cat slept in this basket every day for the past five years….
This cat bed is AMAZING. We just bought a second one. I bought this for my cat 5 years ago in my small little apartment so she could have somewhere cozy and comfortable to sleep. We later moved to a house and then to an even bigger house and she STILL chose to sleep in this every single day.She loves the scratcher post and how soft it is. The 16in is perfect for my 13 lb cat.It has also been extremely safe and sturdy. The only reason we got a new one was that we noticed the top post was starting to get a hole in it and the bed was sagging a lot. But after 5 years of sleeping it in everyday, it held up so well!I added photos of the used vs. new bed and you can see the used one is still in good shape (just really hairy). We plan to still keep the old one in our other room.In summary, this is a great bed that our cat absolutely loves! It gives her a cozy place to sleep, a scratching post, and is safe for her to sleep in for long hours. We highly recommend!

[Apparently] well-built, attractive, potentially useful cat furniture
[Later: While playing with my cats, I placed enough weight on the top of the device to crack the particle-board base (in effect, “totaling” the Trixie Tree). Still, at its current price (around $30) I can recommend it with the admonition against using excessive weight or force on top. I have since gone to the Armarkat Cat Tree Model A4201, which is even easier to assemble and provides greater challenges for the cat and more entertainment for their owners (caveat: the contraption threatens to topple over with the bigger cat on top–consider moving up to the next model ($60) for a larger base plate.]As I saw the price come down on the Trixie Baza Cat Tree, my interest in the product went up. It’s not an elaborate multi-platform device, but it’s a good first step. One of my two cats can occasionally be found lying on top, while both have shown interest in the scratching posts. It’s not exactly a “hit,” at least after a couple of weeks, but it looks nice, it’s very solid without sacrificing comfort or functionality, and it’s one of the few cat purchases that wasn’t sentenced to the attic after the first several days. When I see a bag of litter going for over $20 (and lasting less than two weeks), I’m all the more sold on this “beginner’s” Cat Tree. The next question, of course, is: will my cats be sold? Frankly, I’m tired of hearing the quote (attributed to Winston Churchill) to the effect that: 1. Dogs look up to you; 2. pigs look you straight in the eye (given their poor eyesight, I question whether they actually see you–at least before their snouts “root” you out); 3. it’s only cats that look down on you. If true, this 2-story cat tree offers your feline her first step up in the world. Accordingly, the typically proud parent will follow up with ever taller, multi-leveled towers (relocating to a house with higher ceilings, if necessary), until, upon looking up, it’s clear to all other cat-lovers that your “most special” kitty has reached the absolute pinnacle of success (or, if you will, “catsess”): The Refined Feline Lotus Cat Tower in Espresso.

I can’t say enough about this scratching post, this is the first scratching post I bought an off Amazon so I was (extremely skeptical) when purchasing this, but every penny is worth it. I will keep buying this until I don’t need to anymore. This is my furball Maine coon mix he’s 15 lb and he fits perfectly it holds his weight. He doesn’t use the grooming brush that’s okay with me.

No instructions. Small bag with two screws and wrench tool. These were used to attach the posts to the base. No way to attach the hammock to the posts.Comparing pictures of other 1 star reviews to 5 star reviews it is clear that not everyone is receiving the same product. Specifically, look at the holes visible on the hammock piece in my photo (and other 1 star photos). These are not visible in 5 star reviews.
