How does the integrated bag dispenser work?
The integrated dispenser is an open oval-shaped pocket. To add bags, simply tear off loose bags from any roll and stuff them inside the pocket. It works best if each bag is already separated, this way when you retrieve a bag, only one comes out.
Will bags stay inside the oval compartment securely?
Yes! Bags stay secure inside the patented oval pocket. Even the last remaining bag stays securely inside until it’s pulled out.

Good Leash with a Great Light
This is my second Tug leash. It is sturdy, it doesn’t get tangled and the brake is easy to operate and effective. It stands up to my very strong husky. The best part about this leash is the optional light. It is rechargeable and has 3 modes, one of which has a red taillight. It is surprisingly bright and attaches to the leash and shines so that it lights the path of the dog and dog walker. Way easier than carrying a flashlight. If you walk your dog in the dark, the light makes it much easier and safer. Another great feature is the receptacle for a poop bag.

Great Dog Leash – Highly Recommend
This is the second TUG Oval dog leash we have gotten. This is the first one we got with the flashlight. It is amazing! It shines right where I need light during early morning walks. Our dog is 65 lbs and we got the large. He is pretty strong and likes to pull. I highly recommend and would buy again.

The integrated waste bag dispenser is a great addition, holding two standard poop bags, is perfect for those moments when you realize you’ve run out of bags.Poop Bag Perfection:The integrated waste bag dispenser is the best feature. I really appreciate how the waste bag dispenser saves me from looking like the jerk who just leaves their dog’s poo on the ground and walks away. It’s a feature that should be included on all retractable leashes!Retraction Roulette:Now, let me tell you why I’m giving this product 3 stars. The tape-style leash has potential. It is quit and smooth when retracting, and possibly could be tangle-free, but unfortunately, it doesn’t always retract properly. When your pupper moves around you when walking, as they do when they have to do their business all of a sudden, the flat part of the leash can fold over itself at the grip, preventing it from retracting. Although you can fix it by pulling out some of the leash to make it lay flat again, this can be annoying and potentially dangerous for your pupper if you’re trying to keep them away from harm, or from running in the road as a car comes.Pros:Comfortable ergonomic gripIntegrated waste bag dispenser!Cons:Proceed with Caution!Tape-style leash can jam, preventing retraction.Conclusion:Overall, the TUG Oval 360° Tangle-Free Retractable Dog Leash has some great features, but the design flaw with the tape-style leash can be both annoying and potentially risky for your pupper. Most durable and reliable there is
This is the most durable and reliable retractable dog leash I have purchased in years. Nothing breaks off, the cord works well. I didn’t realize I’d like the little cubby hole for scrunching up 3 waste bags but it’s great. Super product!

A great little leash that feels really well made and sturdy. My 40KG dog is going nowhere when the locking mechanism is engaged. Speaking of the lock, it takes a bit of getting used to. I’ve found that lightly pressing the button is more effective and the tether jolts back in quite violently if there’s any extra slack. When the dog is ‘roaming’ the lead feels super smooth and there’s no noticeable resistance which is great. There’s space enough for about 3 poo bags, which is fine – but not perfect. The handle and unit generally is super ergonomic and a joy to hold on long walks. There’s also no prejudice for right/left-handedness which is awesome!
