I’m real conflicted on this one!
My cats actually like it, I test out a lot of cat items some of them they love and some they want absolutely nothing to do with. I have a panel of four picky judges (laugh out loud) This one they really like. Another thing I like about it is we have two XL size cats 18 to 20 lbs and they can curl up and fit in it just fine so it does give ample room and there’s a nice little mat at the bottom it’s not cushiony but it is soft. I was going to give this three stars and I’ll explain why in a minute. But I gave it a fourth star because my persnickety cats actually like it and it looks pretty cool in my opinion. But like I said we have some problems with this. It says in the description this can be used outdoors I’m not sure what kind of scenario you would be using this outdoors for though. The fabric is not tent type of material or Oxford type fabric if it rains this thing is going to get soaked there’s no flap to keep the rain out it’s not anything you would want to lock an animal up in anyway. So this is great for indoor use only now here is where we get into the most major nitpicks. Mine did not come with instructions maybe it was a fluke from the factory mine just didn’t get any instructions so I just kind of had to use common sense and look at the pictures but I can tell you that on a scale of 1 to 10, one being the most easy to build and 10 being the most difficult I rank this as a solid 8.5 difficulty level. I’m not exactly a weak person and I could barely bend these poles into shape my wife is actually much stronger than I am and has a lot more patience she had to help me put an item together which is one of the first times this is ever happened in my history of being a Vine voice. It took her well over 30 minutes to put this together and a few curse words were spoken and my wife does not talk like that. We’re in our later forties & I can only imagine people older than us would have a much more difficult time putting this together. But if you can get past that I have a feeling your cats will probably like it but just please take heed that this is not an easy item to put together it’s not like a regular tent where there’s strings and connectors already attached to the fiberglass rods it’s just bare fiberglass rods you put on connectors and there’s no string that runs in them once you put this thing up I would highly recommend that you never take it apart. It’s kind of a set it and forget it kind of thing. I’m just going to be honest and throw this out there, this seems like an item you would get in one of those discount grocery stores miscellaneous isles for $5 or $10 I don’t think the price point matches what you’re getting just to be honest. But hey it might be worth it, my cat’s actually were taking turns using it and that’s pretty rare.. like I said I’m just very conflicted on this one. Sorry for the long winded review but it’s my duty as a vine voice to report back on all these little details.

Cats love this tent
My cats love this tent! They will lay in there and play, roll around and put their favorite toys inside of it. They like going in there to clean themselves as well. They didn’t like the weaved side of the mat so I flipped it to the carpet side.Putting this tent together was pretty easy. The frame is flexible, although it does take some effort to bend it enough to connect the two sides. The pvc pipes were sturdy and didn’t break from the exertion.Lastly, the mouse attached to the top of the tent had a hole in it, so the black crumby stuff inside that makes the noise kept falling out. I cut off the mouse and the cats love playing with the string by itself.

Exactly what we wanted!
Our cats love this tent! It’s big enough for both of them and they sleep in it every day/night. I wrapped it in a blanket to keep it a bit more insulated since the house can get a bit cold at night and they seem quite warm and cozy. It was easy to put together and it looks great. I highly recommend it especially if you have a nice cozy plush bed to put inside.

You know those micro tents they’ll sometimes have in sporting goods stores?…the display ones that are smaller versions of the one you’re actually buying? Well, I always wanted one of those for my cats. 😉 So when I saw this adorable little tent that’s actually *made* for cats, I knew I must have it. My cats must have it. Too bad they started some sort of brutal turf war over it…so much jealousy and angst and hissing and fighting!…so I gave it to my ferret instead. He’s far nicer and a much better sharer than they are. So there. Oh, and it’s made well and went together quickly/easily too!
