Dampen the hum with cloth below fountain!
Update: I brought the cats and this water fountain that they love on my camping trip. The fountain fell during travel (my fault for poorly securing in camper) and the plastic flower head partially broke. Fountain still works fine, but I keep the sharp edge that broke to the rear so they won’t cut their tongues on it. I need to order a replacement head but none available. ***BOORCA Please help.***Decent upgrade to stainless steel for my kitties’ fountain. The older plastic fountain tends to get a bit of gummy growth inside it within a week. My older boy didn’t like the change at first but took to it within a day. I use the old one in the far end of the house which they like to visit when there. The pump noise bugged me in the new stainless bowl until I figured out putting a cloth under the bowl silenced the humming of vibration that the plastic bowl did not have. Vibrations of the pump are magnified otherwise. I feel good about the food grade fountain, but the inner parts and flower are still plastic. Both are clear plastic and don’t seem to collect the gummy lining like the white plastic of the pervious. I am able to use the same round filters for this fountain as my plastic fountain, which is why I picked this unit. So far so good about a month in use.

Worth the price
It was silent when I first installed it and ran super smooth. The cats took to it quickly and it’s pretty easy to clean. Clean it weekly though and keep it full! A sliminess builds up otherwise and if it’s not filled enough, you’ll start to hear it a bit. The filters can last a little longer than described FYI but I fear the motor on mine may be going out as it’s making more noise and slowing down a bit. Overall, both my cats and I are pleased.

Great bowl
I had the plastics bowl with the flower for 4 years and I noticed yellow clumpy stuff in my cats dish, I cleaned it all the time, but I cleaned the flower and I never noticed it until last week the flower had built up yellow crap, no wonder my cats we’re throwing up almost daily! So far no throw up with this bowl. I like the quietness, easy to clean, I love the fiktersy,, definitely a great bowl

Love it
Great buy stainless steel fountains are better than the plastic fountains because of the germs and bacteria that clings to them- this is great love the light to tell when water is low and it’s alot easier to change filter noticed that the used filter from this was a lot cleaner than the ones I had used on my plastic fountain really glad I had heard about the difference between the two and got this my cats love it and drink alot more since I changed plus this one doesn’t over flow when filling definitely a great buy

Not very quiet, can hear the water running.
Used for a few months and it works great, dogs loved it, but ended up switching to one that was quieter. I could hear the water running and I couldn’t handle it anymore. Great quality, easy to clean and assemble and I think it actually keeps the water cooler due to the stainless steel.

Our dog love this fountain.She won’t drink from a standard water bowl .She will drink from the fountain, it’s easy to clean, run quietly the blue light is nice also we have had it for 6 months it’s great!

GREAT LITTLE FOUNTAIN BUT DOESN’T LAST
Worked great but only lasted 11 mos. I bought this water fountain for my cats in September 2024, and they have loved it. It worked really well, and I cleaned it about twice a month. Then in May of 2025 it started making strange sounds – I contacted the seller who told me it was likely a clog in the motor. Cleaned the motor thoroughly which helped with the noise but it still made a low drumming sound at times. We are now in early August 2025 and last week the fountain just stopped cycling water. The blue light is on, no sound, and no water coming up through the fountain. I contacted the seller again and they just said “sorry, we don’t have a replacement motor.” So, if you don’t mind it not lasting long, it would be a good purchase, but I am disappointed – I think a product like this should be more durable and last more than a scant year. Also wish the seller was more accommodating to support the quality of their product.

Love this fountain. It is pretty quiet, my cat instantly went to it. The filters are the bigger ones and it also has a filter to go around the adapter inside. I find the smaller filters don’t last very long in fountains. Very happy with this one.

Great product! The automatic cat drink fountain was easy to set up and runs quietly. My cat started using it right away and seems to love having fresh, flowing water. It looks nice, doesn’t take up much space, and encourages her to drink more—definitely a good buy.

I’ve been using the Catit water fountain for the last 8 years and the pump finally died.. I figured it’s probably time to get a whole new fountain and maybe something a little more aesthetically pleasing! This fountain checks all the boxes – super easy to clean, stainless steel, blue and red light water level indicator, which is helpful and lets off a beautiful ambient glow. Amazing price point too. Definitely satisfied with this purchase and if you’re thinking about buying this water fountain I’d highly suggest it! You won’t be disappointed! Hopefully it lasts as long as my Catit fountain did!

Works super well and easy set up with spare filters if needing replacing. The cats took to it immediately and have no issue drinking from it. It’s super quiet and the level indicator on the side does an excellent job in helping to maintain the level of water. Awesome product would buy again and recommend.
