So fun
My dog is obsessed. It doesn’t just entertain her, it entertains the family as well. I have been using it for a few weeks now, couple nights a week when I need my dog to entertain herself, and it has been so funny watching my dog chase this around. She’s an aggressive chewer and is happy to destroy anything, but she has not been able to chew through this ball at all. I have yet to charge the ball so the battery life is decent. I do like that it powers off if it doesn’t sense movement or touch from your dog after a certain amount of time so the battery doesn’t go to waste.

Fun concept, but the casing opens too easily and lacks durability
I wanted to like this JoyBruko interactive dog toy because the idea is solid. The self-rolling motion does grab a dog’s attention and can help keep them busy, especially at first. However, the durability is where this toy falls short.The biggest issue is that the ball opens up very easily, exposing the internal components. After only a short period of play, my dog was able to separate the outer shell enough to access the inside. Once that happens, the toy is no longer safe for unsupervised use, especially for dogs that chew or mouth their toys.Compared to other interactive or automatic rolling balls I’ve purchased in the past, this one is noticeably less sturdy. The plastic casing feels thinner, and the closure does not stay secure under normal play pressure. More durable versions I’ve used can withstand rougher handling without popping open.This toy may work better for very gentle players or supervised, short play sessions, but it’s not suitable for chewers or dogs that get excited and bite at moving toys. For the price, I expected stronger construction and a more secure design.Overall, it’s an engaging idea, but it needs improvement in durability and safety before I could fully recommend it.

Keeps my dog entertained on his own
This interactive ball is such a lifesaver for keeping my dog busy. He figured it out right away and loves that it moves and bounces on its own. The different modes are great because you can adjust it depending on your dog’s energy level.I really appreciate how quiet it is, especially on hard floors, and the material feels soft but durable. The motion activation is a nice touch since my dog can restart it himself. Easy to charge, easy to clean, and actually keeps him engaged longer than most toys we’ve tried.

she’s absolutely obsessed with it so that’s great – but the top and bottom kept coming unscrewed from each other because she’s squeezing the ball when she captures it in her mouth – the inside plastic should withstand more force. if your dog can’t fit it in her mouth, might work. lasted about 10 minutes here – I can’t get it to screw together anymore.

He loves it
My dog is 125 lbs of white fluff. He’s a Great Pyrenees and as a livestock guardian he’s quite serious. Toss him a ball and he’ll either ignore it or pick it up to bury it. When I tossed this ball on the ground he went nuts. He loved the movements it made and even more surprising they kept him interested. He learned very quickly that pushing it with his nose would get it to wiggle. I like that the outside is soft It gives him a surface to bite into. The ball is a good size for a medium or large dog but for an x-large dog like mine it could be a bit bigger. I charged up the battery when it arrived and so far after a 1/2 hour of steady playing it’s still going strong.I do have some minor yuck issues with it. To turn it on or change the movement type you must unscrew the ball. No problem when you’re first starting out but once the dog gets ahold of it you’re unscrewing a slimy, muddy, dog spit encrusted ball. Unscrewing after use to turn it off can be a mess since it’s coated in yuck. The other issue is a love hate relationship. The outer foam coating on the ball makes it soft on both you and what ever it touches, this is love. My hate – my dog wants to chew it off. I cannot leave him unsupervised for even a minute when he has this ball. Once he gets bored of the movement he goes straight to trying to rip the cover off it.

Great interactive dog toy for hours of enjoyment!
I chose to test #JoyBruko’s Interactive Dog Ball through the #AmazonVine Program. This is a well made dog toy in so many ways. First, it is in yellow and blue which are two colors dogs can see. Second, the ‘ball’ part on the outside is easy to pick up as it is has ‘give’ like a tennis ball. Third, you unscrew the two halves to find the motor and charger inside a plastic center to ensure the dog cannot bite into it. Fourth, you can give it options if you want to have it just roll, just ‘bounce’ or both. Fifth, while it comes with a charging cable, you can use any USB-C to charge it. My dogs found the ‘bounce’ to be a be violent and would drop it each time it started to bounce. However, it was easy to make it roll only and it became a winner.
