Great value and surprisingly powerful!I’m really impressed with this dog clipper. It’s very quiet, which is perfect for my dog who is usually nervous around grooming tools. Bought these for my shitzu and worked excellent.. quiet and very sharp.. can’t compare this to any other pair do to the fact this is my first and only pair of clippers for my dog but I can honestly say it did what I needed it to do and my dog is happy..

The packaging looked like it had been opened, but the clippers (and accessories) had clearly not been used. I plugged it in to charge and it was already at 100%! Working in the veterinary field for 25+ years, I have a lot of experience with numerous hair types, clippers and shaving animals for various reasons, so here’s my opinion personally and professionally:PROS:•Very quiet! This makes all the difference in the world!!!•Blade sharp and glides smoothly (be careful of loose skin, tags, nipples, etc.)•Impressed with battery life after shaving/lion cut on 3 cats, one silky hair two with cottony textured hair and a few smaller mats. I still had 48% battery left. This was the first time used, so longevity to be determined.•Gave a good quality haircut.•Accessories are good quality. Not sure how they compare to professional groomers who use them daily, but great for occasional home use.•Not a professional groomer, but these seem like they’d be good for “spot grooming”, especially for the face and ears.•Not a surgical close shave (so not for veterinary medical use), but could work well to spot shave for hotspots, poopschutes, few mats, etc.CONS:•Doesn’t come with a clean up crew. My house looks like I had ten kitty’s worth of hair explode all over, lol. ;)•None yet!

Gets the Job Done!
I have no complaints with these. They don’t pull or jam up on my dog’s fur. While the can get bogged down, that is easily avoided by oiling the blades with the included oil before each use. It’s decently quiet, even at the higher rpm setting. My dog doesn’t mind and treats it more like a massage.I’ve used it a handful of times and it has held up well.Compared to say a far more expensive model, it does not always remove all the hair in one pass, but does so on subsequent passes. Again, I have no complaints at all with this, I am very glad to have bought it and will continue to get good use out of it into the foreseeable future. Good deal!

You cannot remove the battery
I have bought clippers like this on Amazon, which are the best clippers I have ever bought. However, the other clippers, you have to replace the batteries and the blades from time to time and when I saw this product for nine dollars or something ridiculous I thought it was cheaper than buying batteries and blade so I bought it.I am very happy with this product. However, now that I own it, I can see that I can’t change the batteries most likely because they’re built-in and I can’t change the blade that I can tell.I assume that when I’ve used this product too much I will probably just have to throw it away.I went ahead and bought new batteries and blades for my other set and now I have two cordless trimmers while working on my dog and it goes so much faster.If you want cheap and disposable, this is a wonderful product. If you want it to last long and keep taking care of it then this is not your choice.It is absolutely positively worth what I paid for it.

I am reading these other reviews and can’t believe they’re for the same product. This one is almost useless. The only upside is it is cordless and pretty quiet when used at 55 bpm, and become louder as you use faster speeds. I have another set of pet clippers, but they are corded (attached to a vacuum), and those work effortlessly. This one pulls hair almost all the time, and the blades are quite dull.The worst part comes when you attach the guard. It works horribly. It is sitting wobbly at the top of the trimmer even though if fully clicks into place. Most of the time if doesn’t catch any hair with the guard on, and when it does, the hair sticks to the top of the clippers, so they have to be cleaned non-stop.Cannot recommend, unfortunately.
