Challenging & Rewarding. Very well made
This is a fun item and a bit more challenging for dogs, it takes effort and time training them to use it. I started off with treats already in the slots, so the dogs sniffed and flipped them with their nose and knew, then we moved on to learning to push the button with their paw, that was a bit more challenging but they got the hang of it. I used “bits” and freeze dried food small enough to fall into the slots. Use a high value treat your dog likes I would definitely recommend this especially in the winter months when it’s cold and not a lot of outside time games. Tougher than nails. But not for a large dog.
Toy is really tough. We have a beagle that chews everything up. He loves this. We stick pieces of his food in the little fingers and he works them out, Then chews on it for the flavor. So far it’s held up to his aggressive chewing. Ours did not have a squeaker though. Actually I’m ok with that.

This almost killed my dog.
This toy is unsafe! The top has a “plug” of sorts built into it, that is not supposed to come out of the toy.. But it did! Right in front of us, the very first time he got to play with it, being supervised the part popped off and ended up being swallowed! My dog was rushed to the vet and treated initially. The following morning he was taken into emergency surgery and 10cm of his small intestine had been punctured by the piece, had gone necrotic and had to be removed. We are $3,381.85 in emergency vet bills now and after reaching out to the manufacturer we got no response. I’m dealing with the legal team at Amazon now. I highly recommend you do not purchase this toy, or anything from such a careless manufacturer.
