Great toy for kittens
Dimensions listed in product specifications are wrong thankfully. The wand is about 16 inches long, a little short and the only drawback for this great toy. The best part is the sturdy fleece fabric that is securely attached to the wand. It is around 46 inches long and 3/4 inch wide, and it definitely dances with a flick of the wrist. For the price it appears well made. If it lasts a month it will be a great entertainment value. Most importantly, it wears out kittens so you can get a good night’s sleep.

This toy is pure magic for keeping my cat active and entertained. The colorful fleece ribbon immediately catches his attention, and the flexible wand makes it easy to create those irresistible wiggles and swoops that send him into full pounce mode. It’s lightweight enough for long play sessions without tiring my arm, but sturdy enough to hold up against his claws and teeth.What I love most is how much exercise he gets—running, leaping, and chasing until he flops over happily worn out. Super Cat toy for ALL ages!
This is a lovely cat toy!!!! Both my old boy (who likes the soft cloth) and my young boy (who likes the movement) play with it at the same time! It seams to last, which is great since there are no plastic wires which cats can chew and break.

Perfect Toy for Rough and Tumble Play
My cat loves this thing. I have other Cat Dancer toys and in particular the one with a wire and cardboard on the end. She flips out over that toy, and it hones her hunting skill and speed. This one is different as she engages it in a different way. It is more of a catch and tussle game of rolling around with it and tangling herself up in the fabric. The price is great, and she loves to have me play with her at bedtime on our bed. The rough and tumble is a great way to burn energy for a good night sleep leaving us undisturbed until the morning.The only thing that was a bit disappointing was I did not receive the toy color it shows in the picture. The one I got was a black and white zebra stripe. It’s okay but would have preferred the color they show for example. A bit of false advertising I’d say, but still love their cat toys no matter this small issue.

Great for picky cats!
My cat is so picky when it comes to toys. Loves a plain shoelace, doesn’t use any of the beds or games we’ve bought. Standard issued cat when it comes to this stuff. I’ve given up hoodie strings, shoelaces, and pants strings for this dang cat. She’ll play with them for a few days, pace, start howling, bring me OTHER strings, and then immediately say “f this” and lay down.I decided on giving this felt string a chance. When it arrived, I’m thrilled to say the cat introduced curiosity instantly. Took a few hours but she was frivolously jumping around and sprinting back and forth. She has brought this string to me every day (have had it about 2 weeks now). Long, colorful (can cats see these colors?) – the best part is that it’s on a CLEAR stick. We’ve had one or two stick-string toys with the bells / bird feathers / crinkle / plain string and I think the actual STICK freaked her out. Assuming bc this stick is so light, and pretty see through, cat has no idea lol. (Yes. Even though she drags it to me at 3AM howling to play). I’m ordering a second one because we’re having so much fun and I’m excited to see her go more nuts!Cat tax!!

Absolute BEST cat toy!
This is my favorite cat toy of all time. I’ve had these since my first kitty in the 90’s and I’ll always have one as long as I have cats. My cats have always loved this toy and it’s a staple in their arsenal. Have even seen this product on a list of Best Toys for Cats, so a lot of folks seem to agree with my sentiment. I appreciate how much it encourages them to exercise and use their hunting skills, while letting me interact with them. One of my cats was primarily outdoors and had no shortage of hunting opportunities on live prey, yet would “ask” me to play with her using the Cat Dancer. It was what she looked forward to when I came home. That memory makes me nostalgic because she was my first cat, over 20 years ago and this was perhaps the first cat toy I ever purchased.In terms of product details – This toy is well constructed. I’ve never had one fall apart, despite heavy play and a lot of STRONG pulling. The pole is light and slightly flexible, but has never even hinted at snapping. I don’t know how the string is attached but it is superior because after reading reviews of the cheap imitation (I was tempted by the lower price), those toys come right apart at the junction. I’ve never had that happen with the real thing and have owned several of these in my time. The elastic string makes for even more fun than a plain elongated streamer because it snaps back and acts in ways a non-stretchy material wouldn’t. My cats, like all kitties, enjoy this added element of the unexpected and a further opportunity to chase.The only possible flaw (and it’s a small one) is that the string has sometimes frayed a little. It doesn’t unravel like a ribbon. It’s more like my cat’s teeth or claws puncture the stretchy material and pull a tiny piece out. This little bit then stretches and is like a spider web hanging off the main string. I just cut it off with scissors and that’s it. It doesn’t continue to come apart and I can’t even tell where the original piece came out from. Even if I left it as is, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t cause any issues or that my cat would care. Maybe it would make the string a little less aerodynamic so it wouldn’t fly through the air quite as fast? Still not a huge issue, I’m just a tad OCD.In short: awesome, awesome product. I truly hope they never stop making these because I would be extremely sad. There’s no way I could make something similar this well, but I would try and inevitably be disappointed. So keep buying these so they never go out of business. You wouldn’t want me to be sad, would you?

Best toy
This is both my cat’s favorite toy! It moves in a way that no other toy does and they get really excited.Their other favorite is the Original cat dancer, which also moves quickly in all directions but this Charmer is easier for me to use. We all live it!

I bought this toy nearly a year ago in May 2014 to help entertain four mischievous two month old kittens and mum cat. In June 2014 I took one of the kittens home (who is now a pretty large one year old cat) and introduced him (along with the cat charmer toy) to our even larger 2 year old male cat.As you can imagine, this toy has not had an easy life. It has come up against multiple sets of teeth and claws (often at once) and they have definitely not been gentle. While the handle is covered in chew marks (the kittens enjoyed giving it a good gnaw when they were teething), nearly a year later the toy is still in great shape. The end of the material is a little stretched, but this may be because of us tying knots into it or attaching other toys to the end rather than from the cats. It’s very durable – after 11 months of use, by kittens and then adult cats, there have been no tears or fraying at all. The material of the toy is also very long, much longer than I was expecting it to be from the pictures – this makes it great for use with more than one cat.Most importantly, our boys LOVE this toy. Our older cat was never really interested in cat toys before I brought this one home (and we’ve tried plenty wand/dangler-style toys before). As I’m sure many of you can relate to, we have bought numerous cat toys which have entertained them for a short while but which have inevitably ended up forming a steadily-growing pile of rejection.This is the one toy that always gets them crouching and bum-wiggling as soon as we get it out. We have to keep it out of paw’s reach when we’re not around – if we put this in a drawer and we leave it slightly open, you can guarantee that a little furry arm will eventually appear. Both of our cats particularly like grabbing the end of the material in their mouth and running off with a human still desperately attempting to keep hold of the other end. Once they succeed in yanking it from our grasp, it’s us chasing them. We’re so fond of this toy that it has even been named!When I bought this it was £7.99 – it was well worth the money then, and it’s cheaper now. Its durability means you won’t have to worry about buying a new cat toy any time soon. And besides, if your cats love this as much as ours do, you’ll probably never need to look at another cat toy again!

I am amazed at how strong and durable this is. Even though my cat pulls and tugs at it with full claws and teeth, this product is indestructible! She has gotten tired of a lot of the other toys i’ve gotten for her but this one is an all time favorite for her, no matter what time of day. An excellent product!

The length of the fabric makes it easy to get the cats active without having to stoop. The cats love it, I just make sure to put it away when they’re done so they don’t chew the fabric.
